Pansy
Mood: curious

What the hell?

So I just woke up from the strangest HP dream I've ever had.

Draco and Pansy are married. They have two sons, and I'm their nanny. First I get a tour of the house from Pansy and she introduces me to the children. I play with them and take care of them, as nannies often do, and am appalled at Pansy and Draco for being bad parents and mostly ignoring their two little boys. Then Pansy and I get into an argument on how to treat the kids. Finally the fight blows over and everything goes back to normal. Then Draco tells me he has something for me to do but that no one outside the Manor must know about it. I have to give the boys some kind of strength potion that will make them good, strong Malfoys. However, the potion is extremely potent and can be harmful to children. So once the boys are passed out from the potion and Draco is gone, I take the boys away with me.

Understandably I feel a little disturbed right now.
First: the whole deal with the children and how they're treated
Second: Draco, Pansy, their horrible parenting; the potion
Third: the fact that I kidnapped those two little boys
Fourth: Draco/Pansy, just because I'm an avid H/Der (my H/D side feels betrayed) and I have to wonder why I'm dreaming about Draco and Pansy of all things.

So I'm chaucking this up to Pansy anxiety. I've been wondering what Pansy has been thinking about the recent developments. She's been awfully quiet lately, and hmm. Maybe I should be suspicious. If the whole P/M and bananas thing is accurate then maybe she's thanking the gods that Draco's finally getting somewhere and letting him be. However, this seems too simple and very un-Pansy like.

Since I have a final in three hours and have no time to theorize, I leave the task to you my fellow Nragers.
What do you guys think is going on in that pretty little head of hers?

Go forth and over analyze!

Wow. Huh. That's quite the dream.

I think Pansy doesn't have any set course of action yet. I believe that she's sitting back, trying not to get caught in the middle of anything, but then when she happens to com across some info that she'd benefit from, BAM! That's when she takes action.

Personally, I am convinced that la_pensee and potterstinks have a kind of agreement running and that their "relationship" is just a fake in order to
a) get Draco out of the line of fire after the Harry outing thing and
b) get Pansy some silence from her over-bearing, aristo-crazed, status-marriage ambitioned mother.

Successfully, I might add. After they "resumed" their "relationship", teachers, parents and other students stopped picking on Draco (hell, McGonagall even called Pansy "a better choice for the Slytherin prefect"!). And, well, according to her journal entry, mother Parkinson seems to be at least a tad appeased as well.

As for Pansy's perception of Draco's preferences, she and Millicent have been picking on him quite a lot with innuendo. And got rid of all the ridiculous alibi girl dates. She knows and she's totally with us - H/D forever!!!
