Nocturne Alley Haikus
Mood: amused

Sorry if this has been done before. Automatic Haikus - a site that amuses me to no end. I've put countless RP logs into it and culled the significant bits into perfectly produced three-line gems. So, I thought... some journal entries might reveal something new.. well, unfortunately, not many. Here are a few. I was too impatient to try too many.

BECAUSE POTTER IS
OBSESSED WITH ME IT DOESN'T
MAKE ME ANYTHING.

Oh, all right. I'll just
get my wand and get off the
computer instead.

Harry and Hermione
on the other couch, which was
very odd indeed.

Oh. And sorry again if this has been mentioned, it just caught my eye: this screenshot Hmmm.... of Ron and Harry's post, Harry saying "I don't have a boyfriend!" and Ron saying "What's Malfoy, then?" is them using their Chudly Cannon icons. ... odd, anybody? A strangely coordinated piece of replying :) I mean. Ron seems to have been in on Harry's going-ons for quite a while. Strange that he's suddenly gotten so dense; and then looking at Harry's "I thought you said you didn't care about being cryptic to hide identities." spiel... If the emotional reactions didn't seem so sincere, I'd give the paranoia more credit. As it is, though >P it's just strange.

Love the haikus. especially the first one.

I think Ron has known about Harry spending time with Draco at night, and assumed that they were spending time together as boyfriends, and not as friends/whatever the hell they are.
They seem to use their CC icons when things aren't going so well. If Harry is trying to get Ron, who's angry at him, to talk to him he uses his CC icon, and vice versa. Maybe it's a reassuring "I'm angry at you right now but you're still my friend" thing?

I have noticed that, but things still aren't going well here. It is their way of affirming friendship, especially after their huge argument, but I think Ron has been quite observant (if not very fair or being able to take it well) about things concerning Harry and Draco. And, well.. even though I doubt it's true, it's just funny that Harry would challenge Draco about protecting himself versus protecting others in one post, and now suddenly Ron is being "dumb" again.

Hmm. I didn't notice the whole protecting thing, which does shed new light on the matter. However, I can't see Harry telling Ron that Draco is his boyfriend when he isn't (and I don't think he is, too much happened for that to already be the case). So that means Ron is, in a way, dumb when it comes to his belief that they're boyfriends, right?

cadeyrn @ May 27 2003, 15:16:37 UTC Oops.

I was sort of taking it for granted that Draco and Harry were seeing each other. As I usually pick up on the NA signals like that. Which, of course, is being heavily debated on other threads >P and I see both sides pretty clearly. A lot of "if"s, but my mental logic goes like that. But if they were seeing each other, and Harry and Draco were in disagreement about "protection," and Ron knew -- which I think he does, although I'm sure that's because I like Ron and I hate StupidObtuse!Ron -- it'd be funny that suddenly he's so dense about whatever the nature of Harry and Draco's relationship was. He did know something was going on with them, and something was, whatever it was; and it was a pretty subtle (if of dubious maturity >P) to pull that "spending all the time with someone else's boyfriend" thing. Hehe.

The signals for their relationship are definitely there, and I squee like mad every time Draco mentions Harry in his journal, or someone else mentions them together. BUT, I just can't see Draco going from returning the gulf clubs to remove the "queer germs" and writing lots of general nastiness to actually being Harry's boyfriend in such a short time. I think they're spending time together, and Harry sees it as a prelude to possibly more, and Draco sees it as trying to figure out what he feels. But I don't think Draco considers himself to be Harry's boyfriend because I don't think Draco has reached a point where he's comfortable enough with his sexuality to actually express his feelings for Harry.
I hate Dense!Ron too. Maybe Harry mentioned that he THINKS that Draco's feelings for him are changing, and Ron assumed that meant that Draco's feelings definitely changed and they're an official couple now?
