(no title)

Is it just me, or has petitemillicent's writing style changed quite a bit? ...Perhaps a change in the player?

Yeah, that's just what I was going to ask.

Maybe s/he meant Lucius?

Checked the HTML source.

Millicent has not changed players, so you've kind of just insulted her actual player.

Well, I think it would have been worse if she had changed players. That would mean that the new player was not talented enough to maintain the old player's style. On the other hand, if it's the same player, it can just be changes in Millicent's style. I know the style of writing in my livejournal changes from time to time, and it's not as though I am trying to play a role...so it's definitely possible that the character has simply developed a new way of expressing herself.

Koyel, I think you need to fix the HTML for this. The name isn't showing up and all we see is "'s."

...Oops. Heh.

*goes off to fix it*

Thanx.

No problem.

You base this on what? The fact that she wrote a whole paragraph recently and nothing else?

(parent)

aurorasinger @ May 28 2003, 13:16:17 UTC Re:

Well, that too. Also the fact that she has been using question marks far more often, and even has sentences that do not sound as though written from inside a box. Her other ones did, to me. In general, her writing seems to have become more coherent than before.

Well, if you're comparing now with her very first entries, yes, there is a change. But it's rather organic, a general loosening of the style as she becomes a mature, developed character rather than caracature.

It might be just you. ;)

I didn't notice any change, anyway.

Hey, I could definitely be delusional. Nothing new there!

Heheh...I keep seeing your icon and thinking you're me!

Ditto. Except I think she's you.

Sorry.... I'll try to use different icons for nraged postings!

Oh...oops...heh, did NOT mean to use that icon for that.... That was purely accidental. So here's a nice, DIFFERENT icon. Heh. *sheepish*

We can alternate :)

I believe it's just you. She seems the same to me.

Seems the same to me, too, although I'm certain that M.B. and Professor McGonagall have the same player. Not that that has any relevance.
