I'm just an annotation girl...
Mood: amused

Because I haven't come out of lurkerdom for some time to point out some small literary reference:
You go for the both of us please? I doubt I could put up with the twinkling right now. Or the tea.

"I'm a poor man, your Majesty," the Hatter began, in a trembling voice, "and I hadn't begun me tea---not above a week or so--and what with the bread-and-butter getting so thin--and the twinkling of the tea--"

*grins* I can see that someone with your username would be fastidious with correct quotes.

What is the correct etiquette in these situations, one wonders...
It is probably Not Cool to punch the air and scream "YES!", so should one merely lean against a wall and look smug?

Well, if you were a Weasley, screaming 'YES!' would be appropriate.

If you were a Malfoy however, looking smug would carry the day.

True to my Slytherin nature, then, I'll just lean over here and sneer.

*sneers*

Wh00t! Sandmannishness!

I can't wait until Endless Nights. That's coming out... when, September?

And At Death's door is coming out in August, methinks. But Endless Nights is September. AUGH the waiting.

Interesting that you even made the connection. Even if i had read Alice in Wonderland I probably would have missed it.

hmm, twinkling tea... that sounds really pretty.

Oh, I'm good at making connexions between strange and seemingly disconnected things. :)

I opened my copy of The Annotated Alice for the correct quote, and apparently it's not the tea that's twinkling, but the tea tray (as per previous chapter):

Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder what you're at!
Up above the world you fly
Like a tea-tray in the sky.

...The Hatter's been cut off by the King.
