Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.

And Cho's singing "Cell Block Tango," which reminds me of Molly's post...whenever it was. ;-)

Illinois, apparently, is good enough for a country. I have come to this conclusion after following the word speculation and realising no words start with EVERYTHU or EVERYTHA (Every Thug, Every Thai and Everythang were ruled out arbitrarily. Every Thankless could still be an option. Basically, I just beleive it will be Everything).

Also, I'm glad Snape got some enjoyment out of this stop thanks to the Art Institute. I also really want to find a free copy of Where In the World Is Carmen Sandiego.

I am also with the Everything theory. When that was first pointed out, I vaguely remembered Snape having said somewhere that he was searching for "everything and nothing," but I couldn't find the reference. It was probably my imagination, which is good, because otherwise he'd have an awful lot of places left to visit.

The question remains as to why he is doing Everything, however.

molly's post was around the time arthur had the obsession with staples, which would've been... before the veritaserum episode?

snape's subject post by c.p. cavafy.

Something like that. It was in the aftermath of considerable mayhem, though with the Weasleys, it's either mayhem or nothing at all.

I do too. I would use myself, except it doesn't have colors in the friends page, something I depend on. It's beautiful though.

i'm pretty sure he's just gotten it repaid recently. i kept an eye out for that little thumbs up sign because of that thing me and nancy were trying to get set up. plus, i kept an eye on here because of that other time.

Although it sounds like it might just be griping, the post title is in fact from The City by Constantine Cavafy.

"the black ruins of my life" - is this (squee) subtly-introspective!Snape again?

Also, love the new layout, and the poem and the Crowley link! (After Lupin's trip to a Soho bookshop too...)

Oh, I LOVE the Chicago Art Institute. I have prints of every single one of those pieces, and they hang right above my computer. I was so pleased with Snape for visiting there. But how he could he disapprove of the cornfields? As a born Hoosier who spent much of her childhood husking fresh corn for dinner, I have a bone-deep appreciation for the vegetable.
