I think she'll try. I'm not so certian, given Pansy's comments, that it will work.

Pansy is picking up Weasleys left and right.

Pansy does embrace her House trait, doesn't she? She knows who she should be rubbing elbows with to get her foot in the door and move her way up the Ministry ladder.

While Arthur might not work in the most admired department, he has been there for a good many years and seems to be well respected. I'm sure that Pansy knows what position Percy presently holds and knows that he may be able to help her get where she wants to go. A place like the Ministry would have a very well-fed gossip-mill and I'm sure Pansy always keeps an ear open.

But if that's why she's doing it, (to move up the ministry ladder) then why was she hitting on Ron for a while there? He doesn't have any connections, except for Harry, and she's got Draco and Millicent if she wants to get closer to him.

Perhaps she finds Ron cute when he gets exciteable.

Perhaps... ikkle Ronnikins is certainly amusing when he doesn't understand what is going on, after all.

Anonymous @ July 31 2003, 23:17:46 UTC Arthur and Pansy on a picnic???

*upset*

Is it just me, or have Arthur and Pansy just tipped their interaction over from cute-business-family to heading-for-adultery? The massage issue (http://www.livejournal.com/users/la_pensee/15027.html?thread=103091) alone makes me nervous. Can't you feel the romance oozing out of the air in this scenario? I'm sure Arthur would love to escape the worries of his home life right now, whether he realizes it or not... and right on cue, here is Pansy, who is young, pretty, finds him dashing(apparently), and cooks lovely meals and gives backrubs.

I can only hope that she takes up interest in Percy before they do anything... since Percy at least is not married. It would be nice to see someone pay attention to Percy for once... the poor boy gets no attention from his family, after all.
