Mood: !!!!!!!

Harry passed his Apparation test!

But what do they mean, "is he talking yet?"

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD AND PURE, PLEASE LET SIRIUS AND REMUS TALK.

*sigh*

The Q&A with Harry and Draco was really helping to boost the mood around here...and now...

...ugh.

Heaven (read:N_A) forbid we should be HAPPY! sadistic players. mutter mutter mutter

Yay Harry!

But what do they mean, "is he talking yet?"

Maybe he's giving them the silent treatment until Remus and Sirius actually talk about what happened?

(parent)

undermeyou @ August 15 2003, 20:26:48 UTC

Perhaps he's upset about the did-you-find-a-flat situation? ::worried::

(parent)

athene_51 @ August 15 2003, 20:32:01 UTC

I wondered about that too. It is Remus's house, after all, and he can't reasonably be expected to live at TLC for an extended period of time. Maybe the fact that Remus has had to (well, he chose to, but.) move out of his own house is bothering Harry?

Harry gives so little away. Good for speculation, bad for theory confirmation -.-

Well at least they're talking to one another, and at least they seem civil. Hopefully everything will sort itself out eventually? :\

Yeah, I know...but it could be worse :( They aren't shouting at one another publicly and accusing each other of things at any rate :\

(parent)

swallowaspider @ August 15 2003, 20:40:41 UTC

The quiet times can be more dangerous than the shouty stompy ones.

Children of divorce, back me up here.

(parent)

ms_potter @ August 15 2003, 20:45:27 UTC

I'm not a child of divorce but I imagine it would be, and it makes me so sad that we even have to talk about divorce in the first place.

All is woe.

(parent)

therealycats @ August 15 2003, 21:05:22 UTC

Oh, I know. I'm one of said children. But I do think it's better in the long run, in regards to the children, anyway, to not have shouting and fighting where it's open for all to see. Or at least that's how I preferred my childhood.

(parent)

untiemybinds @ August 15 2003, 21:53:25 UTC

Yes, but then when you haven't seen the shouting and fighting doesn't it come as an even bigger shock when they decide to split up?

*shrugs* I'd think so, but then how would I know.

(parent)

context @ August 15 2003, 22:10:59 UTC

It does. And it hurts more, because you think that if you had seen the signs clearly, you could have done something about it.

(parent)

neveth @ August 15 2003, 23:39:53 UTC

You have a Kingdom hearts Icon. I loff you. That is all.

(parent)

therealycats @ August 16 2003, 06:38:50 UTC

Well he already knows they're having problems though. It's not like it's a shock at this point; it's just that at the moment they're calmly speaking to one another. They're already having the problems. :\

(parent)

anoni @ August 15 2003, 20:50:46 UTC

But... ::wibble:: It's like they've agreed to disagree, like they aren't even going to argue and try to sort things out any more. They seem too resigned - I agree with Lozzy_girl. The 'flat' comment sounds long term. ::fervently hopes to be wrong::

(parent)

therealycats @ August 15 2003, 21:06:53 UTC

Well maybe that's what they need right now. Maybe a break now will be better for them in the long run. It will give them both a chance to think, get their priorities in order, etc.

(parent)

anoni @ August 15 2003, 21:13:56 UTC

Well, since talking doesn't seem to be helping, maybe thinking will. And who knows... it's always possible to go from being civil to friendly, right? Like, "start from the beginning again", so to speak? ::crosses fingers::

(parent)

anatidae @ August 15 2003, 21:02:02 UTC

I don't know. I would rather they did, really.

Now it seems like they're acting like they're strangers.

(parent)

therealycats @ August 15 2003, 21:08:59 UTC

Maybe they're just trying to cool off. I know it seems like they're both doing the ice princess thing going from those posts, but if they're able to cool off then hopefully they'll be able to discuss everything calmly and work things out more easily later.

(parent)

chinae @ August 15 2003, 21:00:35 UTC

Maybe the reason Harry isn't talking is because he is busy snogging Draco.

(parent)

ms_potter @ August 15 2003, 21:02:09 UTC

LOL, that's what bobbypin and I said!!

*hopes!*

::wibbles:: Then again, I guess that if they've decided to take a break from each other but to remain on speaking terms, they might actually be able to communicate civilly. Especially since they wouldn't have the expectations they used to have of each other. Don't know whether that's good or bad, but...

Well, they're actually holding a decent conversation now, abeit one that is quite carefully polite. It's a start?

Sirius seems to like making pizza.

...it's actually rather sweet. This is the - third? - time he's tried to cheer Harry up with pizza. There may be more, but I have a bad memory. ^^;

...But Sirius did say he wasn't going to give up without a fight.

*please Sirius...don't give up*

WAAAAH! He apologised... ::sniffs::

(parent)

newbie post! aaah! *cowers*

Pretty sure I've looked through all the comments, and I thought I'd just make sure I got the right idea...

In the Q&A Harry said (sorry, no link) that mariage should be forever. It's something you should put effort into untill it works. To me it sounds like Sirius and Remus have had a civil conversation and decided to give up. Harry is understandably mad. The apology is like a "Sorry It didn't work".

I think they're treating this as forever, guys. Sorry :(

Feeling so much empathy for Harry right now. I'm crying!
I'd be sulking with Rosie too...
