(no title)
Neville's pondering whether or not to reveal he's a wizard to Sara, and discovering things are a bit more complicated with Jeremy than they seemed.

Well, hearing that story makes me feel a lot more ambivalent... but I really think Neville is rushing the gate a bit thinking about telling Sara. She isn't even his official girlfriend yet.

Maybe it's that I'm an untrusting soul, but I would be wary of letting the secret out. Perhaps I wouldn't do a Mrs. Finnigan, but I'd wait until we'd at least kissed.

And the Sara/Jeremy situation needs to be resolved. I'd like to see Neville sit down with Sara and ask her about it. He'd made it clear he was interested, so now the ball's in her court.

That was my feeling too. Especially since he's thinking about it now, with Jeremy just returned and threatening what relationship he had with her. I don't really see a good reason for Neville to tell her now. I also worried about Remus' advice on this because his situation wasn't the same. Neville's situation is totally different and not as emotional, imo. This was one time I was a little wary of Lupin's advice--strange feeling to have with Lupin!

I agree. Completely. But all the same I'm really curious as to her reaction should he go through with it!

Actually, I think she is his official girlfriend. Don't you remember that part of the Q&A where he said a gentlemen doesn't kiss and tell? And that he'd "done more things" with Sara than his Gran had realized?

But then why is she snubbing him for her ex?

I get the feeling that Neville is feeling overshadowed by Jeremy, and is considering telling Sara he's a wizard simply to regain her attention - 'You don't want to be with him! Look at me! I can do magic!' And while I can see his point and must admit I would be tempted to do so in the same situation, I don't think it's the right reason to tell her.

Interesting point. Rather a contrast from the Neville who was worried about having to tell her.

Jeremy should just go away, that'd solve things.
