Question: When did NA officially start? The farthest most journals go is May 2002, but Draco's goes to February 2002. Also, if there are any of you that have the time to work extensively on a NA project, leave your e-mail? It's about putting together an actual backstory.

It's about creating a backstory for NA; I was going to post an entire post about it, and I'm hoping that everyone will help out to some extent, but I was also hoping a few people would be willing to help further with editing and uploading and such.

On that note, I think someone should put together 'Literature and Songs from NA' or something of the sort. The genius players have really used selections from classic (and not so classic) literature well, and it's always been fun to google the lines to see where they're from.

That's because the post was written here (http://www.deadjournal.com/users/potterstinks) in February. :) It was copied/pasted when it moved so the date came along as well.

From as far as I know, the original NA RP pre-dates its livejournal existance. It originally began at deadjournal.com (http://www.deadjournal.com/~nocturne_alley) but moved because of it's unreliable servers.

I am not, however, completely sure about whether the RP is a complete transition from one to another.

Also, the previous player of Pansy formerly used the LJ name "darque_pansy" but her LJ was deleted after she left the game. Details are sketchy (at least from my end of things) because I did not read consistantly prior to joining.

I included this information because I knew it existed, but NOT because I knew if it ought to be used for any backstory. I haven't read the old deadjournal RP myself, and as I said, I'm not sure how consistant the characters are from deadjournal RP to livejournal RP changeover, so really, I'd wait on some other player's input on that.

Yeah, as far as I know, the game itself on LJ is the right one to chronicle. I didn't start following the game until last June.

The reason, game-wise, that was given was that Pansy was very 'darque' and gothic, but then she pitched a fit and deleted her journal and got sent to France for awhile, returning as la_pensee (with much less gothicness).

I don't know the actual reason for the journal deletion but I suspect they simply decided Pansy needed to move in another direction, and it's kind of hard to be anything but gothic with a name like "darque_pansy."

Oh I just meant I didn't know much about what happened during the time when "darque_pansy" was active (between her and the other characters and whatever backstory she had), because the record has obviously been lost with her journal deletion.

I do know why she came back as "la_pensee" and the various reasons for it, etc. etc.
