sirius

My heart simply aches for Sirius right now. While I'm sure it's painful for Remus, he at least has everyone's sympathy and assistance. It would be excruciating to be alone at a moment like this, and I don't really think there is justification for anyone to treat Sirius this way. I'm aware we know very little specifics of what has happened, but whatever it was, I believe this is undeserved.

edit: and wow, Lupin just mentioned Kingsley and Tonks! This is the first time, isn't it?

Is Lupin seeing about a Door a Neverworld reference?

Neverwhere.

I'm a fucking idiot.

<3

I LOVE THAT BOOK.

hunin_munin @ August 20 2003, 19:22:03 UTC

Interesting. It shouldn't be a wonder that a wizard would be able to see the Undergrounders.

Ahm, they must just really like the Gaiman. And after all, who can blame him? He is the sex.

(parent)

hunin_munin @ August 20 2003, 19:26:00 UTC

He is the sexy sex. He went out of his way to provide us with a picture that would make him look "fuckable for and author" for American Gods. His voice ooses sex.

...

I must now go change.

Guh. Yes. Not to mention that voice. Who listens to Coraline on repeat? I listen to Coraline on repeat, man.

Coraline? Audio??? Gaiman??? Voice??? Repeat????

Oh, that sounds lovely. Of course, I absolutely love Coraline. I need to read that again, actually. Just finished off Neverwhere again the other day.

I hate that you're in possession of that knowledge and I was not.

I think I might cry in jealousy. So it was a Neverwhere reference? #prods#

(oh, and I LURVE YOU)

!!!

And there was a reference to Murder Mysteries back in July ("people named Mabella name their daughters Clara" - "people named Tinkerbell name their daughters Suzan") but I couldn't comment on it then because no one made a post about that post. *hugs player*

Tonks is brought up once-in-a-while. I think she was there was Harry was dropped off at the end of last term.

She was also there at That Party. Hacked into Ernie's journal, right?

I thought that was Mundungus Fletcher. He and Snape discussed cauldrons.

Thanks for putting my feelings in words. I really feel sorry for Sirius. Being civil to Lucius was a big mistake, but he also cared about Remus after his transformation (to the point of asking Harry to tell him he had cooked the soup so he would eat it), apologized (even if he might not have understood exactly which had his mistake been) and has tried to help. I empathize with him, having been in a similar situation once.

I mean, he might had slept with Lucius after all that... but remember, this was the same man who was willing to commit the murder for which he had been imprisoned before. Sirius is impulsive, but he's not evil and he cares for both Harry and Remus. And he certainly doesn't deserve such treatment.

So, long post short... I agree. ^^UU

(Here's hoping that Harry's disappearance might help Sirius and Remus to recover their friendship. Romance? I fear I'm not that optimistic).

The situation is horrid for all concerned, but yes, Sirius might be a bit more alone than some. Remus at least has the support of Narcissa, Snape, Arthur and Molly... Sirius has Lucius, I suppose, but cold comfort that would be. A lot of people have made good cases for Sirius's behaviour and motivations, which make me even sadder.
My sister and I have conversations in the kitchen each day about the latest wibbling and every night we agree on poor Lupin and Sirius. (No, really. She says, "so, seen what's happening in N_A?" and I say, "yes oh dear MY POOR LUPIN! SIRIUS! waaah.")

Not sure if anyone else thought of this, but is it possible for Harry to just be hiding under his Invisibility Cloak somewhere, just sulking? And not know that there's a search party out for him...? O_X

This is getting insane...
