I have gotten to love Neville so much this summer. Here I'd been worried that he was thinking he should have told Sara he was a wizard because it would have made her want him, but to hear him tell Gran, "She didn't leave me because she was a muggle. She left me because she didn't want me," I just...oh Neville, you are going to be such a good man! And I love Gran struggling out of her hospital bed to get mad on his behalf and finding he didn't even need it. It's going to be really interesting seeing Neville dealing with Gran during her recovery.

It's so funny...I feel like I know Sara just from Neville's entries. I don't hate her for leaving him or anything...though for all we know she might pop up again. She must have good taste in men if she went for Neville.

Now if I could just stop worrying about poor Lavender...

Oh, nothing that we know about. But the last time we heard from her she was alone at home and she's been really unhappy about her parents' divorce and has an eating disorder (where did her parents go?). The few times she's posted this summer have just been so sad and so sparkly at the same time and I think she's alone. I think Neville said they'd owled a bit, which is good. He cares about her but of course doesn't really know how to deal with what she's going through.
