Narcissa speaks again -
Mood: curious

She's [mis]quoting Tolkien and being cryptically contemplative. Will wonders never cease?

It's unclear whether she's talking about herself or Harry, though - if the latter, does this mean that she knows something?

Edit: Snape is enraged at Harry, and he's in London with Lupin, and indeed, EVERYTHING'S NOT LOST!

Tolkien, huh? It did sound vaguely familiar, in that respect at least..

I have an incite to Tolkien, if anyone would like to hear it..but it is a bit off topic.. ^^;

I think she might be hinting to something greater..but then again, you never know..

Maybe I'm just focusing on the increasing Snape/Remus dynamic here, but could "all who wander are not lost" refer to Snape's journey? He's been wandering the whole summer (with the message EVERYTHING'S NOT LOST), and has returned "home," to become a very interesting neighbor indeed...(and perhaps to salvage some of this August)

It is possible that I'm giving blonde_narcissa more insightful credit than she deserves...but she DOES know Remus, and has been following his condition post-breakup for her own reasons. Maybe this is her (serious) take on what Lucius was so snarky about earlier...

When I read it I thought the same thing.. maybe the message he spelt was unknowingly written out for himself?

Just FYI, NA's Narcissa is blondenarcissa, not blonde_narcissa. I clicked the link and was really confused for a moment until I figured it out. :)

Hmm, she could be alluding to the situation with Harry, or also musing over her relationship with Lucius? All who wander (Lucius) are not lost (to her?). Maybe she's contemplating forgiving and/or getting back together with Lucius? And since Remus appears to be in a similar predicament (unless there is a lot more going on than has been hinted at) this could be meaningful to him as well?

::smiles widely:: YES! And, gosh, I can't say how glad I am for it.

I mean, he's upset. It seems pretty clear that his post was a reaction to Lupin's, and that he's really worried about him - not so much by his tone toward Harry as by the fact that he posted about it in the first place. And while I'm not happy that they're upset, I am very happy that Remus finally has someone else there to look out for him.

Yay Snape!

I wonder if he'll get Remus high to help calm his nerves? *mischievous grin*

First place Sev goes after his journey?
Lupin's house.

I'd think he cares if he wasna't... well, himself.
