(no title)
Remus complains about the tea. Then apologises to the missing Harry. ::shakes finger:: I agree with the proclamation of possible doom - Severus is going to be rather put off at his presence on LJ, especially when he's left another message for 'the idiot'. ::amused::

He has accepted the death of his best friend? Oh wait...no that can't be right.
It's been seven years since I read that book. I have a fuzzy memory. I hope I'm *somewhere* in the ballpark there, even if it is out in left field *blush*

WILL THE TWO OF THEM JUST GET IT OVER WITH ALREADY. I think the Narcissa/Lucius thing is funny. I'm sorry but I do. But the BLUPIN thing is just frustrating at this point. Remus needs to STOP apologizing to Harry. It's not going to do him any good. Sevvy-Poo needs to slap the fire out of him until he'll either stay off the damn computer or find a new topic of discussion.

I did that once, and on Nraged too. I remember muttering 'someone kill me now'. XD

Remus is making me so tired. And given that I'm already tired and have been 6 hours at school and have to go there again, Remus's tiresome sobbing isn't helping me in any way. *grumble whine snore*

School should be made illegal - getting up at six and getting home at six and having to do assignments and homework and revision and only then being able to get a *life* is not good. ::grouches::

Tell me about it: 10 english assignments, 1 english summary, 4 math assignments, practising to both swedish and english matriculation exams and translating a swedish chapter. I think the teachers are mental.

...you poor, poor child. When you get to college, I would perscribe a couple of frat parties and all the Rocky Horror showings that comes up during your freshman year.

how about instead of complaining about school we talk about how remus sounds completely defeated in his post? i mean that message to harry sounds like he has finally just accepted that harry doesnt want anything to do with him and had to get away from him and sirius in order to find peace? i didn't see it as remus being tiresome at all but rather he is just completely tired. am i the only one who read that?

and where is sevvy-poo sleeping at anyway if the flat only has the one bed?

No, I read it that way too. He sounds defeated and exhausted, and that bit about hopefully seeing Harry at school? It sounds like he hopes Harry won't avoid him, but worries that he might. That just breaks my heart. I can't imagine how hard it must be to know that someone you love so much can't be around you AND be happy at the same time.

and where is sevvy-poo sleeping at anyway if the flat only has the one bed?

Hee. I've been wondering that too. The bathtub? How's that for a mental picture? :D

See, I don't think Harry is going to avoid him at school. I do think that Harry just had to get away from both of them, although I really don't think he should have done it in the way he did. But I think he just needed to be out of that atmosphere for a while. I don't think he loves them any less because of their current problems (God, RESOLVE them already!) but I think he's frustrated with their behavior. I'm not sure that overreacting is the right word for what Remus is doing, but I do think he's just making things worse. Sirius is hurting just as much, if not more, than Remus is, but he doesn't feel the need to make a post every 5 minutes despite the fact that Harry won't see it.

Maybe the two dogs will both find their way into the Room of Requirement and be locked in there together until they kiss and make up. Because GOD this is getting old.

Oh. I also notice that while Remus doesn't list "Sirius Black" as one of his interests, he does still have Padfoot on there...or has it always been like that and I just hadn't noticed? :$

*sighs* Yes, I agree that it's high time they patched things up. And they BETTER do it VERY soon--like before school starts?

But I honestly feel sorry for Remus. He tried his darn best to have a wonderful family, and it all went "SMASH!!" on the rocks. *sighs again*

Professor Lupin...I solemnly hope that everything will be all right for you in the end.

I don't know about defeated. Yes, Remus does sound a bit tired and sad, understandably, but I really felt a little better for him after reading this post. He's past his panic over Harry, he's finding a way to make sense of what Harry has done, and he seems to be on his way to making peace with it.

He connects his own need for peace of mind with Harry's desire to go off "on your own where no one can find you." So that suggests understanding rather than continued bitterness on his part. And he expresses confidence in Harry's choices -- whether he comes back before school, or they just see one another when they're back at school. I also thought his ability to make a joke about Severus being back -- "am likely doomed" -- was a good sign.

Life goes on.

</small>There's been so little of that recently that I expect you just have find it wherever you can and take advantage of it, whether it's in a church or a dungeon or on the back of a flying motorbike, or in an open field under a full moon, or perhaps on your own where no one can find you.</small>

Mmm... wow... I love this paragraph, it feels so restful. Like he's finally coming to terms. I love how he touches on his own life at the moment, and Severus', and Sirius', and his inner wolf's, and Harry's.
