Poor Lavender. With her poor body image and her parents separated she's probably having the most difficult time out of anyone, especially since no one ever takes her seriously.

Ooh, Lavender now has a Cheer Bear icon! Okay, probably of no interest to anyone but me, but MiniIdlewind was once Cheer Bear for Halloween. And so I now have to give Lavender lots of nostalgia love. ^_^

Can anyone with experience with anoroxia tell me if Lavender's jogging is healthy or actually dangerous? It might help build up muscle mass but if she still isn't eating, I would guess that it could do her a lot more harm then good. My knowledge with anoroxia is fairly limited, though.

Could be really bad. Compulsive excercising (don't know the correct term) can go hand in hand with anorexia where the person will excercise obsessively, sometimes until they collapse. It gets to the point where not only is there no fat left to burn, but muscles start wasting.

Since I don't really know much about Anorexia I Googled it and found a nice list of symptoms...it's horrible. This page gives a pretty good idea of what can occur:

*cries for Lav* God I'm so worried! This game is horrible.../wonderful/hysterical/so-addictive-it's-unbelievable-and-bwah-I-got-my-friend-hooked-now-too ahem. anyways, now that I've gone completely off topic, I hope this somewhat answered your question. :P

That should help you much more than I can.

Thank you! That information is really very helpful. ^_^

See, I was afraid of this.. Poor Lavender. I think we're going to be headed towards a collapse. Hopefully, when\if it happens, she'll finally get help from Pomprey and her parents.

Damn that August. *shakes fist angrily*

Rockabye baby, on the tree-top;
When the wind blows, the cradle will rock.
When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall,
And down will come baby, cradle and all.

Oh no, poor Lav! The bough doesn't even have to break!

Ooh I missed that.

Maybe she just thought it was pretty, being a nursery rhyme and given the character, but I'm tempted to read into it...

Plot revelations? Or perhaps character?

Alright, I'll admit it, I just wanted an excuse to post more graphix

That's ok, it is a Lavender thread after all, and if we follow her example then we'd have graphics in every post

I can't believe how much I loved that entry. She can be so brilliant with her rainbows and bunnies and always this horrible darkness underneath it with jogging round and round the house and nowhere to go. I'm not sure if her parents are really apart so that they can get back together either. Also I want to know about what happened with the party and why she couldn't return Parvati's owl!

I love her bunny (I used to have a bunny but mine had a bad attitude.) I love how quickly Lavender can reduce Snape to fury with her relentless sunshine power.

Also, Lavender has excellent taste in music.:D

Lavender's player: Do you know any bands with bird names?
Ernie's player: Hm, why?
Lavender's player: I want to thank Sister Magpie for my paid time in my entry :/
Ernie's player: It won't be magpies though.
Lavender's player: I know, I'll spoof it :))
Ernie's player: *thinks*
Lavender's player: COUNTING CROWS!!!!
Ernie's player: >:D<
Lavender's player: Only, I have no idea what they sing
Ernie's player: A long December
Lavender's player: Okay!

:D

Oh man, I feel really really bad for Lavender right now. I mean on top of the eating disorder and her continuing body issues her parents have split up. And that's gotta be really really hard for her to handle. It sounds like she's in denial about it, and it also seems like they're probably lying to her about what their separation really means.

Lavender is such an idealist, especially when it comes to love, so I think it's really hard for her to see people break up and to see relationships fall apart. Her comments to Remus and Sirius are especially sad, since, although they seem very immature and naive, there is a lot of real emotion backing it up.

I worry about her eating and exercising too. She's been in an unhealthy pattern for a while and I don't see any signs of improvement. I was kind of hoping that her parents might see something wrong with her, but it sounds like she was left alone a lot this summer, I'm just assuming that her parents both have to go to work and stuff. And why was she not at the party? Poor Lav, I really hope she's able to get some real help this year. Am I insane to hope that Snape will take some role in this?

Her new(?) icon of her mother and father makes me infinitely sad.
