Ron and Draco are hexing each other! Ron is speaking Mandarin Chinese (can somebody translate?) and Draco has been shortened. XD

The extent of my Chinese says that's the translation. But the "you forgot to mention" definitely fits. And "duan" can mean short. Usually if refers to objects rather than people though . . .

I myself loved Cho's reaction. Although I would have liked her to start swearing back at him.

(The way Ron's statement was phrased - I haven't taken Mandarin for a while but it's safe to say his statement resembled a phrase that my teacher assured us was... not suitable for mixed company.)
