Yeah, but I'm still wondering how it turned out gray. I mean, icing sugar plus water = white icing, what horrid thing got into the mix to make it gray? :::remembers armadillo cake in 'Steel Magnolias':::. Teehee.

dude. i don't know what ron was doing, but i know from my experience once you start using food colouring in icing to make "pretty colours" grey is one of the easiest colours to get. (it made for some pretty nasty looking sugar cookies). LOL so if he tried his hand at that... easy peasy lemon squeazy.

Really? I've only ever had blue, pink and I think green food colouring. Deprived childhood, see. They always made really bright colours... green's always good to totally turn people off a cupcake. :D

It was two christmases ago, and we were making sugar cookies. We had blue, green, red, and yellow food colouring - I think. I was trying to make purple, and it came out this nasty grey.
