This post is simply everything I love about Remus. The reminiscent poetry of it all makes me want to talk to old school friends and kiss every person I've ever loved. We're probably all hoping for the same set of letters, and whether or not we're right doesn't even seem to matter right now. I will go to bed thinking of how Remus started out this new term. A lonely walk through the castle thinking of happier times, wishing he could talk to his love, and tracing the initials of someone special with fingers that seem to know better than his mind what it is that he needs. September is indeed here at last.

You know what? It made mine too. It was something I'd been thinking about for a few days, because I do still have to believe that they will get past this. I can't read old posts about clarity, fateful introductions and a simple wish for happiness without believing that things will work out. I have to believe that they can, because, in the words of Shawn from Boy Meets World, "[they] don't deserve that kind of pain." If we don't have hope for them, why should they?
If there was any one thing that got us from there to here, it was faith. Not of a religious sort or anything, but just faith. In each other, and ourselves I suppose. It was very hard at times to keep it going but sometimes all you need is just that tiny little sliver of hope and it will somehow get you through even the worst things imaginable. -- Remus Lupin, 8/4/03

I had to pop in here and show my Blupin support. Wonderful post. This whole thing breaks my heart (major kudos to the players for that!!) but I am holding strong that there is still hope.
