Personally, I absolutely adore Narcissa's new layout. And I'm so fucking proud of her. That she still hasn't backed down is something that continues to amaze me. She has become such a strong, independent character. It's lovely.

it's good to see her being strong, but i can't help feeling sorry for lucius (gah! can't believe im saying that!) over the way she jumps down his throat over every little comment. it often seems rather unjustified.
i understand that she has reason to be skeptical, but still.... maybe i am just underestimating lucius's evil-ness?

I totally agree. I mean, yeah, he's a total evil bastard. But she's assuming the worst of him with every post! Evil needs candy too!

That's one way of putting it.

My parents are not divorced, because they Don't Believe In It. You do not know how much their offspring wish they did.

All this 'sanctity of marriage' guff aside - marriage requires effort. If you're not prepared to put the effort in then it's going to collapse, and the divorce court is better than constant sniping, for everybody. Narcissa and Lucius need somebody to tell them this.

I wonder if Draco should serve papers on them?

LOL--yes! It fits wonderfully with her not getting Draco's joke about the file too. I'm dying to know what he said in his "candid" owl (and what happened at her business meeting) but this little exchange just made me laugh and love the Malfoys very much. They're such a family.

Unfortunately, it's irking me a bit more than it is you, it seems. ;) I love Narcissa -- I really do. As everyone can probably gather, the Malfoys are my favourite characters in and out of N_A -- however, this coupled with her ever-disappearing userinfo (OKAY, Narcissa, we get it, you don't care about anything but Draco, WE GET IT) is just eating me alive.

Fortunately, her latest post holds hope...
