Lucius' Birthday Report
How Lucius celebrated his birthday.

The post sounds melancholy and quite un-Looshie like. Thoughts ?

ETA: Unsolved NA Mysteries, from hobaggins' prior comment. Some involve the Malfoys. Anyone have links to the threads where Narcissa botches Draco's birthyear and where she mentions the last time there was a baby in the manor (and the date didn't match up with Draco)?

Also, any speculation about Lucius...since he didn't pull Draco out of school before the attack on Hogwarts, maybe he didn't know, and he's not very high in the DE ranks? (EATA: Wellllll, his edit seems to clear this up)

My supervisor cheered me with news of a most ambitious undertaking, one in which I am to be a key player, and one that is entirely in keeping with our philosophy. The results, while drastic, will be quite rewarding and we are all most anxious to proceed.

Um, WIBBLE!

Dang. And those "tokens" are probably part of the plan.

Ok, that does not bode well. O.O

Draco has not sent anything

Go Draco! *grin*

there's a look in her eye that speaks of desires unfulfilled, and I daresay they are desires that have nothing to do with me.

Could it be.... Gunther?

No wonder she thinks Lucius is lacking...clearly Narcissa is doing the Universal Sign for "it's this big"!

That is the most disturbing thing I have ever seen.

You are my hero. :D

the sight of that old woman's leg sticking out of the giant Venus Flytrap still sends us into hysterics

Ahahahahahahaha. Life's simple pleasures...

I love it when Lucius does these utterly silly things, like posting about a potential death-eater operation (if indeed that's what he's talking about) in a PUBLIC JOURNAL. Mmm-mmm. Top sekrit! That's what I enjoy most about N_A Looshie -- his player's ability to mix pathos, humor and Looney-Toons Eeevil in a single post. Of course, he might be deliberately broadcasting these dark plans as a veiled attempt to short-circuit them... a violent debacle involving his wife's friends would certainly rock the fragile boat of his marriage.

Yeah, thanks Lucius for that heads-up about a DE attack! He's such a silly head sometimes. Go Lucius.

In other news...erm, excuse me? Draco didn't send Lucius a present for his birthday? Is it me or is this a huge deal??? So much so that Lucius can't even comprehend it?

Why would Draco not send a present? God knows he'd know it was Lucius' birthday. Is he making a statement of some kind here or is there something going on with him that he literally forgot or couldn't send something? Like Crabbe pounded him into the floor and he's still recovering? Or he slept through it a la Harry this summer? This seems like a major deal to me.

Unless, of course, the owl did get lost. ;-)

dari_brit @ September 25 2003, 12:43:30 UTC

MAJOR deal, I totally agree. I have this strange mix of "poor Lucius with a wife who isn't sure about him and a son who is becoming more distant" and "collateral damage? ACK!"

I would guess that Draco will eventually come through with a gift...once he's made his point.

Actually, in Draco's recent post, he said that he has NOT received his father's owl yet. Unusual, isn't it? I mean, he can't exactly respond unless he receives his daddy's owl first, ne?
