(no title)
Mood: distressed

He's baaack...

Although, did that seem kinda... forced to anyone else? I didn't get the same twinge of glee from the thorough and vicious destruction of his schoolmates' self-esteem.

Well, it's clearly not as honest as the little digs he's been giving for the past few days ("You could just laugh!" "Oh, did you notice mother?" "I wouldn't want to miss the point.")

Also he was very very carefully avoiding mentioning Harry. Since when does Colin follow Granger and Weasley around?

Although I'm not sure what to make of that. I mean, he specifically avoided telling Colin that *Harry* didn't like him. I wonder if he was trying to keep ignoring him, whether he didn't want to cross that line, or whether he just thought Harry would deny it.

I noticed that too. It was almost too obvious. He's not only just ignoring Harry's comments now, he's making a point to complete avoid all mention of him. ;_; It's possible that this has something to do with what CC said, and PS is still just making a point to JH. But I guess there's also the possibility that he's decided he just doesn't want anything to do with JH, and is making it as easy as possible, for himself, to forget that JH exists.

waaaaah! *flails*

I think it's a case of good ol' lalalalala fingers in our ears denial. If ps doesn't mention jh, then jh doesn't exist.

Thought this was interesting though:
...but I would sooner pick flowers and hand them to McGonagall before I'd associate with any of you by choice, so it's hardly throwing any salt in my wounds to tell me that people I wish had been wiped out in 1980 dislike me. In any case, I'd certainly rather have them hate me...

And we all know hate is so close to love.

Current mood: enraged
I spent the majority of the evening being manhandled and abused by Pansy and Millicent.

Take the 'ha' from 'manhandled', the 'rr' from 'current', and the 'y' from 'majority', and you very clearly have 'harry'. The poor boy, he thinks he is ignoring Harry, but he can't control his subconscious.

And, in response to what he said about Colin--ow, harsh. But Colin brought it on himself. I did notice an absence of glee. Almost like he's defending himself rather than being on the offence where he usually is.

And he is still trying to prove his straightness. Ha.

Now Colin has threatened him with harm in return--via Harry. Something tells me pride goeth before the fall here. Harry doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings but I really don't think he'll appreciate being made somebody's bodyguard and used as a general threat. I hope ps responds to that threat--after all, it's not like he's not faced Harry before.

I just think it's the cutest thing that he got stuffed into bed with the two of them <3333333333

Draco seems to be hitting Colin below the belt since that's what Colin did, and he did it with way more snark and class. :D

I agree. Draco's insults rubbed Colin's in the dirt right and left. :D

The thing is Colin doesn't listen to anyone but Harry so nothing Draco said made a dent, imo. However, if Colin is going to continue sticking his tongue out from behind Harry's back and threaten ps on Harry's behalf and ignore his girlfriend in favor of tagging along with Harry & Co. and start even more fights with other houses by saying Gryffindor's the house where they "live" loyalty and all that (which is funny considering the Operation Little Dragon that's been going on in the dungeons lately!)...

...Harry may actually have to say something. The question is...will Harry be able to talk to him nicely as he would want to or will he lose it? Guess it depends on how far it goes... Because this is one time when ps's ignoring Harry will probably reflect well on him. He's not dragging Harry's name into it right and left.

Oh, and ps's response to M.B. is incredibly adorable. I love the idea of the three of them curled up in one bed. Talk about house solidarity! And so cute!!

Hell, even if Harry weren't doing the whole "talk to me about algae stains" thing, he'd probably have to do something about Colin's "Harry will beat you up" thing.

Draco is just mean and nasty with what he said to Colin. So very sad he's ignoring Harry completely. Same bed with Millicent and Pansy hmmmmmm.....

He did seem a little bitter and not quite so enjoyably sarcastic.

What I'd really like to know is what is up with the lookalikes? I know that Pansy's Sally-Anne has left and Millicen't M.M. has disappeared (chips!?) but what was up with that Draco-lookalike mentioned by Crabbe/Goyle? *wibbles*

And what of M.B.'s mission where she was looking for "bait?" I'm almost sure she mentioned something about the Gryffindors going down...

(parent)

Anonymous @ April 6 2003, 21:10:01 UTC

She was trying to get Ron to be bait for Draco while she was on the Draco hunt :D

sistermagpie @ April 6 2003, 21:24:10 UTC

Ah--good plan. I thought it could have been that, but couldn't be sure.

In other news, it appears the Gryffindors may indeed be going down. Poor Parvati was the first to be hit!

This'll all end in tears I've no doubt.
