Am I the only one who thinks Remus is a complete ass for leaving like that? Especially after pontificating about how much Sirius hurt Harry, and the chummy banter and quality time he's just racked up with said boy. What is he doing?

Well. It's pretty obvious what he's doing. But it doesn't change the fact that he is digging his own grave.

I thought it was interesting that Sirius and Remus are using "we" to refer to themselves or themselves and Harry again. Here, when Remus says that both of them will be fine (I guess you could argue that he was refering to Harry and Draco, but I took it as Harry and Sirius), and then here, where Sirius uses "us".

It gives me some hope that even if Sirius and Remus can't have the same relationship they did before, their friendship is healing and they can be there together for Harry. Same for Sirius's relationship with Harry.
