(no title)

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought "Aziraphale" when reading Lupin's annoucement. ;) Anyways, I think it's cool that he's opening a bookshop. :)

Maybe Snape will visit him once in a while; I'm sure that man enjoys books.

Ok, am a complete philistine, what's Aziraphale? ^^;

And I love the idea of Remus with a bookshop. :D

An angel who 'sells' second hand books in Good Omens, by Terry Pratchett, more or less. Runs a bookstore in Soho, if I'm not mistaken.

In addition to blue_raven's description:

- "gayer than a whole treeful of monkeys" in the opinion of his customers.
- Hangs out with a fallen angel in black leather, named Crowley. If Aziraphale is Lupin, Crowley is *definitely* Sirius.
- Likes tea
- collects books of prophecy.
- oh yes, and is trying to take a hand in bringing up a boy whose decisions will be very important to the future of the world.

Ok, now I must read it. ^^

Oh yes, you must.

It is hilarious.

It's co-written, actually, by the way, between Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

I highly recommend it :)

I'm very intrigued and thanks for the extra info! :D

I love lupercus. That sounds like the name of a Wizarding sitcom, doesn't it.

Anyway, resultant carnage! Dumbledore's sadistic tendencies! Tea and dog biscuits!

You're not alone at all. First thing, in fact.

He's spoken of Aziraphale at times, so that probably helped spark the connection. I wonder if we'll hear more of his bookstore-owning friend.

Both of them have popped up a few times before. here and here. I think there are more references, but these are the only ones I remember.

Hope that's useful.

Oh my goodness, Aziraphale was the first thing I thought of! So much Aziraphale love. Also Good Omens love.

Makes sense. *squees and sends lupercus love* Bookstore owner is one of my favourite jobs for any Lupin; the Aziraphale connection just makes it sweeter.

And yes, so much with the Aziraphale-ness, though that would mean Snupin, because potions_master is practically a walking Crowley.

That's what I was thinking. Aziraphale and Crowley started out as enemies but over time realized they liked spending time together, which is so similar to Lupin and Snape. Also, the naughty things Crowley does, like that thing with the telephone connections that caused bad will to trickle throughout the city? So very Snape. ;)

You are most definitely not alone.

I believe it's become a condition response, for me at least.
