Getting to Know You, Getting to Know All About You
Mood: ready

After all that craziness it's time for the big slow down. Slow slow slow slow slow slow slow. (Not fast.)

But I'm posting because I have a question! This thing right here is Harry's "Getting to Know You" sheet on Justin:

http://www.nocturnealley.net/~gryffindor/justin.jpg

Can anyone tell what the very crossed out thing says? I'm wondering if it says anything about Justin being homophobic... or just wondering what it says. I was surprised when I looked through the nraged threads and didn't see it there, I thought it was something people would have latched onto immediately.

Thoughts on all the "Getting to Know You" sheets can go here too. If we're going to keep this obsession going with not much to feed on, we've got to be organized! It's time to over-analyze this, people.

EDIT: We know the last word of Harry's crossed out thing is "watchful". Thanks, vassilissa and a_player!

Oh wow. I sorta just looked past it completely, seeing as how he has other things crossed out. But why cross that particular one out so much? Kudos to you for pointing this out!
It sorta looks like he wrote "pity." I can definitely make out a y in there, and it looks like it all ends with "ful." hateful?
He did a pretty good job of crossing it out!

*saves into photoshop, enlarges, runs through a few filters*

I think the last word is watchful. Or wrathful, but that doesn't sound like a Harry word. Or greenvarnish could be right about 'hateful'. Or it could even be 'grateful' - there's what could be the tail of a 'g' at about the right point.

*undoes the filters, blows it up and starts erasing the bits that have to be crossing-out*

The middle word is 'completely'.

OK, I think it says "He's completely hateful." In my completely wild-guessing, overheatedly nraged opinion.

That's about what I read. Either "hateful" or "grateful". 'Grateful' doesn't fit the 'defensive' response, though, does it?

I think the last word is watchful.

Thanks!

H___________watchful.

Hm, maybe it's not a sentence. It could be a list of words; some of the other students did lists of words. I can't make out what it is at all though. :(

Uh, this is OT, but does anyone know if LJ is screening anonymous comments by default now or something?

The middle word looks a bit like 'partly'. But that doesn't really make sense.

Could the words be a list, like most of the others did? *goes back to pondering*

Yeah, I want to say it's a list too... hm, partly isn't an adjective. Maybe it's paltry? It would be a bit weird to say that about a person though. It could be....
