(no title)

Sorry to spam, but I've been behind and just caught up... anyway, the topic line in Lupin's bookshop post is the title of a My Back Pages, a Bob Dylan song that the Byrds covered. The song's about nostalgia, and learning to admit you're at fault, which I think is pretty interesting in the context of the Sirius/Remus relationship.

Also, I love the song, so of course I think it's a cute topic line, but that's beside the point.

Those lyrics are very cool. Makes me want to go out and listen to Bob Dylan, though I've never done that before. I especially like the bit about "A self-ordained professor's tongue". Lupin seems so real. :D

Heh. If you've never heard any Dylan, start with the Byrds' cover. Dylan is WONDERFUL but his voice takes quite a bit of getting used to. & the Byrds are one of the few bands that can cover him and make it sound good instead of massively annoying.
