Draco updates, assuring us that he is not having fun in any way, shape or form, and reminds us about his impending birthday party.

I can't help thinking that this:

is his way of trying to get involved in the sleepout thing people are organising here :D :D!

Although I have to say it's making me edgy - sleeping outside? After Ernie's rather ominous comment of It's so safe here I just want to go sleep out of doors or something! I think something is going to happen tonight...

Yeah, everyone seems suddenly and dangerously flippant...
I figured it was just because Luna's glasses were circulating, but it seems too widespread. Even Ernie's usual trusty paranoia is missing, and he doesn't seem to have used the glasses. Do you think there's a spell or something that's made everyone feel overly optimistic and careless so they sleep outside where they're more vulnerable to an attack? But then it doesn't seem to really be affecting Draco or Millicent (i.e. they're respectively enraged and dryly sarcastic as ever). Maybe I'm just filling in for Ernie's usual paranoia!

I'm noticing it too...it would be interesting if their sarcasm and paranoia and enragedness was somehow protective, though. I mean, Ernie says he's with people he trusts implicitly (which must mean they shouldn't be!) so maybe their not trusting anybody will be a good thing. Or something.
