Old news, but....
turpinol's post on the loneliness of Head Girl night patrols reminded me... did we ever find out who the Head Boy was? I know this is old news, but I'm still curious.

I'm thinking that this is going to have to come into play as important at some point or other, most likely before the end of the school year. Which gives us, what-- two or three months?

And how can you be Head Boy if no one can see you? How do you patrol the corridors or do anything useful?

It's not that I think that j_h is Head Boy, but your post just sounds this way.

Well, I mean, no one knows who the Head Boy is. So he hasn't shown himself to anyone. If you're going to catch someone out after hours, or up to something they shouldn't be, you can't exactly loom over them and flash your badge and say, "OK, you're in trouble. Follow me to the headmaster's office."

I suppose you can be a sneak and report to teachers behind the students' backs, but you can't stop them mid-mischief.

Yes.
And he does not flash his badge, he just keeps sending this funny notes to people.
So it could be Harry.

I think it is very stupid way of being Head Boy anyway
