Lupin is shocked.

I is very sorry for accidentally posting too soon. I'd just woken up and didn't notice the time mark on the entry. I deleted it about thrity seconds later and posted it again after waiting. Sorry! ^_^;

I'm also taking that as a snarky comment about Lucius as well

I wonder if Remus knows more than we do right now, or if he's just (completely justifiably)going off of Lucius's post(s)?

Watch it not be anything along the lines of what we're thinking.

Haha. Really, this is all about the J_H/PS. IT ALL GOES BACK TO THE H/D!

(parent)

laurac0re @ May 1 2004, 18:50:58 UTC

and we do still have that cryptic 'top' remark from the other day to factor in...

(parent)

jenicomprispas @ May 1 2004, 18:56:13 UTC

I had a silly theory on the "top" thing, but I was at school all that day and didn't post it. :D I thought Harry and Remus got plastered together, and in a drunk moment Harry asked about how/if Sirius and Remus made up or something. The response almost fits, and it gave me happy things to daydream about that day in class, so that is what I think until more information appears.

(parent)

slinkhard @ May 2 2004, 18:41:13 UTC

AMEN, SISTER! TESTIFY!

(parent)

laurac0re @ May 1 2004, 18:42:03 UTC

it sounds like he's just going from the posts so maybe that's a good sign...she could still just be on holiday...or something.

(parent)

jenicomprispas @ May 1 2004, 18:46:25 UTC

That is the question, isn't it? Lucius is Mr. Ambiguity, and the language of his post, "my poor, poor Narcissa. What will we do without her?" does NOT sound good, but it doesn't necessarily mean she's dead. Am I grasping at straws here?

(parent)

hezzabeth @ May 2 2004, 00:24:37 UTC

I dont think she's dead, I mean she viewed the hallmark card I sent for her for her birthday.

(parent)

adrienneblack @ May 1 2004, 18:49:54 UTC

I'm just glad that one of the adults is finally paying some attention to whatever it is that has happened. I understand that they probably want to ignore Lucius but it has been clear for at least a week that something was going to happen on friday and that Draco wasn't happy about it.

(parent)

Anonymous @ May 1 2004, 18:56:45 UTC

Does anyone else think that this is an elaborate scheme to lure Remus into a trap? I hope i'm wrong, but I keep thinking about it!

(parent)

xnera @ May 1 2004, 19:04:57 UTC

It would have to be quite an elaborate scheme, since Lucius and Narcissa have been going on and on for days. Although there was that reference to a silver mine...

pokethegeek @ May 1 2004, 19:28:23 UTC

spyware sucks.

(parent)

xnera @ May 1 2004, 19:49:50 UTC

:(

Yes, spyware indeed sucks. And I'm saddened that some NA fans can't get on AIM, because I want to talk to everyone, dammit!

Am curious though why you associate spyware with AIM. I ask because my computer has been all wonky lately, and I would hate to think that it's something with AIM causing the problem. I don't see how it could be, though, because many computer geeks I know who are very knowledgable and paranoid about keeping their computers safe use AIM.

(parent)

lonelyspade @ May 1 2004, 19:54:36 UTC

A way to use AIM without having to have AIM.

(parent)

xnera @ May 1 2004, 20:03:18 UTC

Yup. And Mac's iChat is also on the AIM network, so if you have a mac you can chat that way.

pokethegeek @ May 1 2004, 19:54:51 UTC

oh well, I don't really associate spyware with aim it's my brother who is paranoid. I don't know much about spyware, really, but I guess that it's the same with realOne. Or at least, that's what he has been telling me.

My brother is a very knowledgable computer geek (:

(parent)

dragynville @ May 1 2004, 19:25:10 UTC

The wording of his post, coupled with the mood 'shocked', sounds to me like he does know something concrete. 0.0 Worries & wibbles abound!

(parent)

lonelyspade @ May 1 2004, 20:00:48 UTC

I thought/think so too

(parent)

adrienneblack @ May 1 2004, 22:08:31 UTC

That's what I thought, especially since if something has happened then there must have been reports of it in the Wizarding World (though it's been pointed out that if that were the case then Millicent's reply is possibly slightly strange).

(parent)

oconel @ May 1 2004, 20:46:37 UTC

Lucius says he did nothing.
I did nothing, actually. It was all out of my hands, wolf.

Oh, no Draco.....

(parent)

seren_himitsu @ May 1 2004, 20:51:09 UTC so not freaking out... really, i'm not

I wonder what Draco will say, once he posts.

(parent)

oconel @ May 1 2004, 21:01:47 UTC Re: so not freaking out... really, i'm not

I bet he'll only talk about Quiddich and how he spent a wonderful morning with his mother...

(parent)

moocow1985 @ May 1 2004, 21:43:02 UTC

I'm starting to think that it's worse that we know something has happened and we're just waiting for posts about it than to know that something's going to happen in the future.

Gar!

(parent)

xnera @ May 1 2004, 22:06:42 UTC

Heya. A bunch of us in chat were talking about ways to autorefresh the page, and I remembered the mode=live option. Basically, you tack ?mode=live at the end of a livejournal url, and it will automatically refresh the page for you. Liked so:

http://www.livejournal.com/users/nocturne_alley/friends?mode=live

Use &mode=live if there's already a ? in the url.

(parent)

morganmuffle @ May 1 2004, 22:57:55 UTC

Thank you, I knew there was a way to do that but I'd totally forgotten it.

(parent)

ex_lev195 @ May 1 2004, 22:10:54 UTC

I'm actually kind of annoyed at Remus for his post. It's not like he didn't let it happen in front of HIM, too. Yeah, he wasn't in a position to do much of anything, but he could have frigging SAID something.

(parent)

morganmuffle @ May 1 2004, 22:23:48 UTC

As Lucius points out in his response...

(parent)

xnera @ May 1 2004, 22:37:11 UTC

So if Lucius is posting now, does that mean the quidditch match is over? 'cause he was planning on going to it.

(parent)

adrienneblack @ May 1 2004, 22:37:55 UTC

That's what I've been thinking. For the first time in a while I find myself agreeing with Lucius. We managed to realise that something bad was going to happen on friday and the characters had just as much information as us, if not more yet they don't seem to have tried to do anything.

And if Draco is fast becoming a DE then maybe it's partly because no one seemed to care when he was desperately trying to get their attention.

(parent)

morganmuffle @ May 1 2004, 22:57:14 UTC

You know I had been thinking that it was really sad that Harry hadn't responded to Draco but entirely understandable but now I'm not so sure. If Harry was reading Lucius and Narcissa's entries (and I suppose there isn't any guarentee he was but it seems likely) then WHY didn't he try to find out what was going on. Or any of the others...

AND WHY DON'T WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED YET!?!

*deep breaths*
Sorry about that, I'll go back to my corner and wiblle quietly to myself shall I

(parent)

adrienneblack @ May 1 2004, 23:04:09 UTC

I'm not sure about Harry (he is after all only 17 and he and Draco have had lots of problems) but I just can't understand why one of the teachers hasn't said anything. Snape is his Head of House and should therefore take some responsibility for his well being. Lucius and Narcissa could hardly have been more obvious without giving everything away and Draco clearly needed someone to talk to.

I know, it's drving me crazy that we still don't really know anything.

(parent)

morganmuffle @ May 1 2004, 23:08:34 UTC

Well I know he's only 17 and all the rest but he just needed to pass his worries on to somebody else. As for the adults... I can't see much excuse other than either the didn't notice (which is pathetic) or (for Order members) that they couldn't reveal themselves but there must have been SOMETHING they could do.

(parent)

a_player @ May 1 2004, 23:15:58 UTC

The Order of the Phoenix doesn't exist in NA, just fyi. :)

(parent)

morganmuffle @ May 1 2004, 23:16:52 UTC

oops.
Thanks for reminding me. This is what happens when you make me stay up all night worrying.
:-)

(parent)

a_player @ May 1 2004, 23:19:48 UTC

Nah, it is not just you. People mention it on here all the time - I just haven't thought to say anything until now.

(parent)

vassilissa @ May 2 2004, 02:49:42 UTC

We don't know they haven't done anything. They might have done things but not posted about them.
