Shock...dismay...

Not that she's a bad person or anything, but... even if I wasn't completely convinced that potterstinks loves just_harry, I don't think that his personality would really lead to a good relationship between he and Padma.

*sucks at tenses today, tries to make that setance consistant*

He's not himself today. I will blame it on that.

Also (I feel kind of bad replying to myself) Hermione seems very calm about it all. Not that she isn't usually calm, but it sounds like a) she suspects that something is going on and she is glad that Malfoy is occupied elsewhere, or b) she is being sarcastic.

Parvati predicts that it will all end in tears. Parvati is a smart girl.

Awww.. when I saw that subject line, Isn't the library a romantic setting? I got so excited! And all for naught. >:0, I say!

Perhaps she just thinks it was Padma she overheard Draco asking out. *is optimistic bordering on delusional*

*joins your borderline delusion*

Wah, poor Harry having to sit there and watch!

moonlitpages @ April 12 2003, 21:24:05 UTC

Well, there goes my delusion. *sigh* Oh dear, I wonder if Harry was there for that- I'd be willing to bet that he was. Why else would Draco go to the library where Harry said he would be during the duel with Hermione to ask Padma Patil of all people out on a date? If it was in earshot of Hermione, doubtless it was also in earshot of Harry if he was there...*heart breaks for him*

I officially have no clue.

shusu @ April 12 2003, 20:30:50 UTC

Padma's excited.

...................

Ack!

And Draco was POLITE??

(parent)

sistermagpie @ April 12 2003, 21:22:00 UTC

Maybe that was for Harry's benefit?

You know, technically, Dean did not win the duel. The choice of weapons was WANDS. Not paint thinner.

notapipe @ April 12 2003, 21:29:48 UTC

BOOT and MALFOY chose wands. Sir Cadogan and Dean did not.

sistermagpie @ April 12 2003, 21:35:22 UTC

Isn't it the same thing? As the seconds, aren't they supposed to have the same duel? I don't know much about dueling.

I have no idea, of course. Dean's the winner in any case. And as usual remains the voice of sanity at Hogwarts. Although that may not last long if Terry asks him to make banners. LOL.

shusu @ April 12 2003, 21:37:30 UTC

Poor Harry.

This could go the other way... being incredibly polite to Padma to dig it into Harry?

Or... polite to Padma so as not to hurt Harry's feelings over the coverup?

gah.

(parent)

sistermagpie @ April 12 2003, 21:49:54 UTC

Okay, I guess the duel question's moot because potterstinks and boot_boy are dueling right now in the trophy room! Woo-hoo!!!

sistermagpie @ April 12 2003, 21:57:29 UTC

Unless Dean kills them both first, which is a distinct possibility. Go Dean!
