while this might be helpful in one respect... (if lucius doesn't show up, he can be tormented for his hypocrisy in dealing with Draco afterl /his/ duel)... I can't help but feel really sad about the whole affair.
Poor Remus. He would never go after Sirius, even though it's SIRIUS who brought Lucius to the party, and thus SIRIUS who instigated the disastrous situation. But Remus loves him too much, and thinks too little of himself, to go after Sirius. So of course he's going to go after Lucius. And I hope he wins. Even better, I hope Sirius deters him from the fight by diverting all blame onto himself.
But I swear, if Sirius steps in and tells Remus to leave Lucius alone, WITHOUT begging forgiveness himself, I'm going to rip his lil head off. Or at least imagine how it would look. Because if Sirius tells him to do something, Remus is eventually going to obey. So Sirius had damn well make the right call.
THEY'RE GOING TO BE MARRIED SOON!!!
And, honestly, if these two can't sort these things out, how are harry and draco supposed to fix things up???

Atually, I'm not sure that Sirius invited him. From the way his comment sounded, he might have just shown up on his own, and that was the reason that Siruis left to look for Remus in the first place.
