Last evening Lucius and I met in our special meeting place in Hogsmeade away from the prying eyes of the commonfolk. The discussion began quite nicely and I thought we were coming to an agreement on the issue of dealing with our son. Naturally, the moment I assumed that we were on the same page, the conversation took a drastic turn for the worse. We ended up having quite a row and I confess that I do not know how to deal with that man at times.
Draco is still ignoring me and I am quite sure that his father is for the time being as well.
I cannot do anything right, apparently.

Mrs Malfoy, I think Draco is just very busy right now. He does have all those detentions before and after lessons, and they are an awful lot of physical labour.

That may be so but he should certainly still have time for his mother.
