Morning in Hogsmeade
Although I do so love spending time with Remus at Dogear Wryde, I wanted to give him privacy to spend Easter with Sirius and Harry alone. That being said, I had arranged to meet with my charming son early this morning in Hogsmeade. I have not seen him since Christmas holiday save for the briefest of moments at Hogwarts the Saturday of the notorious duel. Why, I barely had time to even get a good look at my baby, let alone speak with him. Therefore, I was quite overjoyed and excited to be able to have some time with him.
I am afraid that I was a bit late and arrived a few minutes past our appointed meeting time as it took me longer than expected to leave Dogear Wryde this morning. Awaking early, I had partaken in my morning ritual of a facial whilst sipping on a Fuzzy Neptune. While I was waiting for my skin to soak in the plethora of nutrients of the moisturizer, I had decided to go through a few of the boxes that Lucius had sent over for me. Never again will I do so whilst listening to Tori Aconite (or Sarah MacHexlane or Fiona Appletree or Vanessa Taoism or any other artists such as that). The Fuzzy Neptune in conjunction with the very sad music made me rather weepy as I perused old photos of Lucius and myself.
After pulling myself together and making certain that I was presentable, I then set off for Hogsmeade, basket in hand. Oh, I was so looking forward to presenting my Little Dragon with the Easter basket I made for him. Remus did help out a little with one of the little treats in his basket. I do hope he liked it, as I have never done anything like this for him before and I wanted this holiday to be special for what I hope are obvious reasons. At the very least, he will enjoy the sweets and (hopefully) some of the presents I included.
Utterly unexpectedly, Draco presented me with a gift as well - a gorgeous tropical plant of sorts in a pot that strangely has a look very similiar to dragonhide on it. He told me that the plant helped one to retain their youthful beauty. My darling boy definitely knows what sort of things his mother likes. I shall use the aloe from the pods in my facial tomorrow.
After giving Draco a few galleons until tomorrow (when we shall be meeting on Diagon Alley and I can make a withdrawl from my separate account at Gringotts to better provide him with funds), we took a leisurely walk around the town. Window shopping became tedious after a time (as usually we Malfoys do not deign to make many purchases in Hogsmeade but prefer to look at items in windows and confer as to where we could get a better quality version elsewhere) and we found ourselves relaxing on the shore of the lake just behind the train station. Draco and I had a long talk and I just wish that I could make everything better for him. He tried to be my strong, darling boy but a mother always knows when something is amiss with their baby. At one point he seemed upset with me and I questioned him on the matter but he would not admit to being angry with me. I suspect that he is just emotional like his mother at this point in time, although he would never agree that he was so.
Oh dear me.
Remus must have missed nipping one of the little dragons in the tin. One just flew in my room!
DACEY!
Merlin. Where is that house elf when I need her? I am being ATTACKED by a paper DRAGON.

Ah! That's where the missing one got to. Tricky little devils.
Sorry about that, Narcissa. They're really quite harmless, though - just a flick of the wand and a finite incantatum is all you need.
I can send it back to Hogwarts next week with Harry if you think your son would want the missing one?

I used a freezing charm on the little nicker. It's still hovering mid-air and I am too exhausted from trying to outrun it to remove it. I shall have Dacey take care of it and bring it to you for proper packaging.

Ah, very clever of you, I hadn't even thought of that. I'll get Fred Weasley to explain to me the Charm he used on the cranes to make them more docile before I send that one off to Hogwarts.
How are you doing? Was Hogsmeade this morning pleasant? Are you comfortable? If you need anything, Narcissa, do let me know.
Happy Easter.

I am as well as can be expected, Remus. But how are you doing? I haven't seen you since yesterday and I hadn't wanted to disturb you when I got back from Hogsmeade.
Happy Easter to you as well.

I'm much, much better today, Narcissa. I recieved an owl today of potions from Madame Pomfrey and Severus Snape that have helped immensely in my recovery. My leg is nearly healed.
And not a moment too soon, it seems I must go and hunt down a couple of scoundrels and inflict doom upon them both.
And Narcissa, don't ever think you are disturbing me. You are more than welcome to drop in for a visit whenever you like. I enjoy your company.
You'll excuse me, now. I have to go bash some heads.

I am so relieved to hear that your recovery is speeding along quite nicely. Do take caution whilst you chase after Sirius and Harry, won't you?
I shall have a pot of tea ready for you once you bring the roguish remainders of your family inside. We can all visit then in the kitchen if you would like. Dacey has already scampered off to confer with some of your house elves about arranging the tea and other refreshments.

Just a simple nunquam dormiens charm, actually. You have to give the wand an Italian sort of flick at the end -- I modified it from the nessun dorma awakeness spell.
