Christmas!!
I talked to Hermione on the telefone today, which was a new experience for me. Dad's had one for ages, and sometimes it gives off this loud ringing noise and we don't know what to do, so we just bang on it till it shuts off. However Hermione seemed pretty busy, I thought at first she couldn't hear me 'cos she wasn't answering but turns out she was just concentrating. Good thing I'm heading over there tomorrow night, she might forget to eat and sleep if I'm not there to lend a hand! I talked to Mrs Granger for a moment and she seems awfully nice. I've just finished with all my gifts - last minute, I know - and I'm too pooped to write much more. I got so busy cramming for O.W.L.s, which weren't nearly as scary as I thought they were going to be, that I found myself far too near Christmas for comfort. Lucky I shopped with Pansy! I still had quite a lot to do, though!
I'VE GOT AN AWFULLY BIG PRESENT UNDER THE TREE THIS YEAR! HOORAY!
Also, I got Christmas cards from Susan Bones, Pansy Parkinson, Harry, and Percy and uhm, someone else as well, yesterday and today! Thanks! (Don't pay attention to Ron's weekly fit, the petals in Pansy's cards are lovely, not poisonous.) Percy's said, "Keep up the excellent work!" As I'm not sure what I've done I shall just continue on as I have been, then. Harry also sent a deck of cards to me that Soblessa left lying about after a round ages ago. The cards are terribly rude, which is or was terribly Soblessa. I miss her so much.
I don't mean it like that but I can't wait to go to Hermione's! It's a bit cramped here!
