Confusing and horrible
Just had a nightmare. Heart is beating so hard right now. I don't remember the beginning now, because the end was so disturbing. It started out extremely weird; my family and I were all in the car that got totaled first year... trying to figure out why all the other Muggle drivers we passed looked like Anubis, and mummies kept flying over us. Then, for some reason, we decided that it was an Egyptian holiday that wasn't very popular or something, and Bill told us we couldn't celebrate it because we had to go to the Ball instead. Then, suddenly, it was Hallowe'en and we were racing through Ottery St. Catchpole in Muggle clothes grabbing things people had left sitting out in their front yards. It went from sweets and weird garbage that must have been Muggle stuff that I've seen before, but I didn't recognise any of it, to shoes, to pillows and bed linens, and then, suddenly, beneath my mum's feet was a stuffed dragon, and I bent down to get it out from under her, and realised two things: one, it was Charlie's old dragon he used to let me play with, and it is so old and loved that it's almost worn completely apart, and two, the dragon's head was ripped off from his body and he was almost shredded. I picked him up and Mum and I started crying, and I cradled him and said, "Oh my god, it's like he's been raped or something!" and then I noticed that there were Dark Marks all over absolutely everything and there were groups of Death Eaters walking around like at the Quidditch World Cup, and shooting off Dark Marks that were bouncing around like Filibuster Fireworks. Mum, Ron, the twins, and I sat in five white chairs lining the road on what felt like a public school entrance, as the men in robes walked by, and I hoped a stray curse wouldn't hit us. We wanted to leave but when we tried to move, they came nearer, and we hastily sat back down. As soon as we did, the girl in my dorm I talked to the other day was standing in front of us, dirty and smelling and sweaty, and she calmly cursed Mum with the Cruciatus curse, and Mum slumped over George, and then she cursed Ron, all with the straight face of playing chess. I was still holding the dragon... and she said, "HE dies... this one WILL die..." referring to Fred and George... and then she said she was Tom... and then I was so terrified I forced myself to wake up.
I hate that I cannot make sense of my dreams!
There's no way I'm going back to sleep anytime soon. I'm now sufficiently terrified.

Oh don't worry about it, Ginny! It's just a dream! They never mean anything, or *I* would have been Quidditch captain of the Cannons by now and Percy would be INTERESTING! So, hah! Don't worry about it, all right? It'll be fine, don't bother trying to do any dreams interpretations, that is just a bunch of kook that Trelawney came up with. I think you must be just nervous about the ball, I'm getting nightmares about it myself! No more fretting for you, silly girl! *pats your head* Have you decided what you're wearing to the ball (did Hermione tell you what she's wearing)?

You're right - I won't worry! Still, it was very scary. Just the thing Professor Trelawney would like, don't you think? ;)
I'm just wearing my red dress robes from third year, but I'm fixing them up a bit! Hermione's kept quiet about what she's wearing to the ball, but she'll look just lovely, I know it! :D

That oversized dragonfly would love anything that dies, honestly! Are you all ready for the ball? What time is Fred coming over? I'm going to skin him alive, but don't worry, I'll return him to you before the ball if he survives, hah! I know Hermione will look uh, lovely, but she doesn't have to be so secretive about it, does she?!

I told Fred I'd meet him in the common room just before it starts - why, are you going at a specific time? And yes, I think I'm pretty ready. I'm still looking through Soblessa's old copies of Witch Weekly for ways to wear my hair, but that's it. What about you - are you ready? Dress robes all pressed and ready to go? You won't have to wait too much longer to see what Hermione's wearing!
Be nice to Fred, he's my dance partner! :P ;D
