Kitchen Duties are for House Elves
I was promptly informed by Professor Snape yesterday afternoon that I have to serve a detention this evening for some utterly ridiculous reason. Harry knocked over some books in Potions this morning, but I didn't think it was that big of a deal, really. Yet apparently Professor Snape has a different view of the matter. And now I have to serve kitchen duty this evening!
This is entirely unfair! I am not happy to say the least. I have to scrub pots and kettles? What kind of a detention is that?! It's just boring, menial work that is best left to house elves. And I probably won't be able to do it without breaking my nails!! This is a disaster! How can a detention like this possibly be assigned?! I thought detentions were supposed to have more purpose than this. This detention is entirely pointless. I am not looking forward to this evening. -.- I have better things to do than stare into dirty pots.

Yes, he is being so incredibly unfair. >:| He's just looking for excuses to give detention. I doubt he'll be satisfied until he gives every bloody person in Gryffindor a detention. Twice. At least. >:\
