Of makeovers and such.
I do say I am quite looking forward to Mrs Malfoy's beauty retreat in the weekend. While I do disagree with many of the Malfoys' thoughts and ideals, I have found Mrs Malfoy to be a perfectly well put together witch. She is very classy in comparison to many other witches. I think that there could be something to learn from her, though I do hope that Mr Malfoy shall not be around. Aside from the obvious faux pas of a bunch of girls trying to learn with Mr Malfoy there, my father has assured me that Mr Malfoy is not a wizard that I should be around.
I have even heard that Professor Trelawney will be helping, and her guidance is always a blessing.
I have decided against wearing the Retro Calf-Length Robes that I usually enjoy, and Lavender has agreed that this decision is for the best. We must keep up with fashion, and we have decided that retro is no longer in. Drinking bleu tea is in now, which is quite excellent as it is my favourite kind of tea. This is wonderful in comparison to last week when standing during meals was in, as I developed a terrible back-ache.

Ms Patil, I have recently learned that differentiating between Astronomy and Divination is "in." Be advised.

Thank you for the advice, Professor Sinistra. I shall keep that in mind.

I do think it shall be dreadfully enlightening. I am glad to see that some other girls are attending.

It's a shame that there is no counter-part to this, as recent activities have led me to believe the boys around here could use some old-fashioned charm lessons. Tsk tsk.

Now, now, Ms. Patil. Surely an intelligent young woman such as yourself would be able to ascertain for herself the company she chooses, rather than relying on the advice of her father? Prejudice does not become you, my dear.

I assure you, Mr Malfoy, I am not prejudiced! My family has always been very open-minded, which is not what I have heard and seen of yours in my tea leaves!

Ms. Patil,
Do please remember your sentiments when you are partaking of my hospitality this weekend in my home.

I am pleased you and Lavender have decided to give up on the attempts to bring back the calf-length robes. After all, I'm certain you know as well as I do that retro fashion usually takes at least 10 or more years to come back.
Why, if last seasons outfits were still fashionable there would be no reason to buy *this* seasons. Fashion designers know quite wickedly that they need to bring it back at least a decade or two later so that the old stock will be much harder to find and those with any nose of fashion will regretfully have to repurchase styles they owned years back.
I am certain you and Lavender will look so much better now that you've chosen to follow this years trends.
