I thought, because he was a Slytherin, that I would find Nott terribly Unappealing as a partner. Well actually, he still is a Slytherin. However, I didn't know one of Their attributes is actually charm.
I'm not very good with poetry so I'm not sure How to catch him up, here! He's picked out the finest Ten deeds for us to complete, claiming that Only the best ten deserve completion. I don't know if trying to Make me laugh is actually that worth it, but he's going to spring it On me, so I'm working on finding absolutely Nothing funny. It's either a challenge Or a giveaway!
Nott's got my elephant dancing on His palm. It won't dance for Padma, even, so I'm not sure What it is about Nott, but it's definitely something. His Bible's just the book he's currently Reading, which is sort of odd, but at the same time I suppose when you're a reader It's important that you finish your book? I don't read Very often. I read a couple of - uh, I don't suppose You'd call them chapters - for him earlier Today. It was kind of strange, Really.
Tonight after dinner We have our lesson by Sinistra and Trelawney, which should Be interesting, amongst other Things. I think we'll go stand on The stairs before dinner and try and speak to That lovely little girl portrait in the pink Frock, she always looks so upset. Perhaps I can Even make her laugh! I wonder if that counts As two deeds.
