Lavender Brown gave me a Valentine's Day card. Does she want something? I hope she hasn't found my journal and read my entry about wanting to be her friend. I'll blush for days. I can't hide much from her though, she's such a powerful witch. I've seen her Inner Eye in action, you know. I hope she'll keep it a secret, she is quite the gossip-monger.

I made Daddy a Valentine's Day card, too. I signed it as mum but I think he knows it's me. He printed it in today issue of The Quibbler. I hope nobody sees it. That'll make me blush as well. I showed it to Ginny only. She said that she can't imagine ever living without her mother. Who can?
