Tomorrow's my birthday and I'll be eighteen. My brother Sean will be here for it so that'll be cool.
I haven't really been up much. I stayed in hospital for a bit on Wednesday night and Thursday morning and then I left and then Professor Sprout made me go back again. Mostly I've just been lying around. Today was the first time I ate, but I wasn't really hungry.
I talked to Harry Potter a bit yesterday. I wanted to talk to Weasley but he wasn't around, so I thought I'd talk to Potter. I don't think he really wanted to talk, though. I reckon when You-Know-Who put the Killing Curse on him something happened with their wands because Potter did it at the same time, when they were in that gold thing. I don't know why someone's wand would do that.
It looks like there's a spy at the Ministry. I hate this world sometimes, man.

I saw Ronald yesterday but I don't know if I'll see him again soon. He saved your life, hey? Good boy, old Ronald. Wasn't worried about how he'd do at all, not at all. So you're all spick and span then?

I understand, son, I do. I hope your lot throw you a nice party with some streamers, tomorrow. Most parties are good parties, big or small, as long as Ron doesn't sing.
If you see my daughter around, could you please tell her we're looking forward to having her home on the hols? I couldn't find her yesterday.

It could be a very quiet party. But then you have to ask where the line is between a party and a gathering, really. And presents are always good, especially if they're well-wrapped and take a good while to open.
I'm not really sure on this. I think I will be, but maybe not for visiting. Ministry, and so forth, but nothing to worry about, you understand?

Nothing for you lot, I haven't slept for a while now but that's all right because I've done that loads of times before, you lot should all just rest up, feel better, look forward to hols and all that.

It's hard to grieve and do this and do that at the same time. I've heard what he did. I look forward to seeing the man locked away for what he's done and old fool or not I am determined to assist this through to the end.

Oh. Yes. Well there's nothing can be done about that, not now. Only an idiot would return to the same spot he's done something dreadful like that so I think you lot are all right, really, I mean I can't say for sure but Hogwarts should be safe. You have good people looking after you.
