I'd just like to say, that the whole lot of you are a bunch of jerks. I wasn't at the Halloween Ball, cos my costume was a foe glass, and I sort of fell over in the dorm and couldn't get back up, BUT! I've heard the accounts and all of Hufflepuff House was ignored! Like we weren't even really invited to the dance! "Oh, sorry, this dance is just for the Gryffindors and Slytherins, and the Ravenclaws, since they look nice. Right-o, chap, better hurry on back to your common room for a night of Hufflepuffing."
So Justin and Susan went to the ball together, and I think they might FINALLY have things worked out, which is great and all, but they keep spending all this time together and telling me we're all still best friends, but I can tell I don't really fit in. I don't know, they keep doing their homework together and telling me I have the same homework when I tell them they're purposely excluding me. Oh, well that means a lot, mates! "It's your homework too!" Yeah, that makes me feel a part of the crowd. It's like they're doing the same homework as everyone else but they're too good to do it with the rest of us cos the rest of us aren't cool enough.
I don't think Hannah and me were ever like that, either! We'd never purposely exclude anyone! I mean, okay, Hannah and I mostly fight all the time, but still! Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who cares about Hufflepuff anymore!
Soon I'm going to have to start hanging out with Morag, which is never gonna happen because she refuses to hang out with anyone but the seventh years. Eloise is nice and all, but she has a lot more friends from other houses than me and it makes me kind of uncomfortable. I mean, who knows what everyone else is thinking.
So I guess I've got to kind of pull Hufflepuff through by myself. Yeah, well, screw you all too.

I could have said it better myself, Mr Macmillan.

No, I don't think we were either, Ernie.
You didn't miss much at the ball, Harry and Malfoy were "Harry and Malfoy", I tripped over my 'White Witch' healed shoes and twisted my ankle and missed most of it. *sigh*
Why are all of us ignored so much?

Man, I heard about that fight - I heard Malfoy spit blood all over Hermione Granger! Course, I overheard some of the Slytherins talking about it in Charms so it's not like anyone told me, but I bet it was really wicked, I'd like to see Malfoy getting his arse kicked. I mean, not that I wish harm on another student, not me, not this guy.
We're ignored because we're HUFFLEPUFFS and everyone thinks they can walk all over us! Well let me tell you something, I'm tired of it. When your own house starts ignoring you, something is awry!
What's a white witch, Hannah?

Ironic, that. *smiles*
The White Witch. She's a character in a Muggle book called The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.
My Aunt works with Muggles and she sent it to me when I was eight. I lend it to you if you'd like.
