I hate this journal. Professor Dumbledore never told us that we had to update very often, but Snape is using it as another way to punish my friends now. So I guess I should write here more. I really hate this journal.
No one had the Quidditch pitch reserved tonight, so Ron and I went out there and threw around the Quaffle for awhile. It was really fun. We wanted to bring Hermione and Ginny, but Hermione was at a Prefects' meeting, and I think Ginny was doing stuff with Cho. Which is kind of weird, I think. But it was really fun, and it was kind of like being at the Burrow. Last summer when I was staying there, Fred and George brought their new trick Bludgers and that was pretty cool, but scary. When you hit them with the club they made this really loud sound, and then they deflated. But the sound was really surprising, and it almost made Ron fall off his broom.
It was kind of cold out tonight, but I hate wearing my cloak when I fly. It gets tangled up and it's just annoying. I let Ron try out my new Firebolt for awhile, and I think he really thought it was great. But then he said Hermione's Prefect meeting was going to be over soon, so we went inside.
Then I started my Potions essay, because it's due next Thursday and it has to be thirty-six inches. I don't think that there's thirty-six inches of information on Wart-Removing Potions. I was going to ask Hermione about it, but I'm getting pretty tired, and she and Ron aren't back yet, so I guess I'll ask her tomorrow.
So I'm going to go to bed now, and tomorrow I'll probably finish my Potions essay, and maybe if my penmanship isn't too bad no one will get expelled.

Couldn't resist mentioning your Firebolt, could you, Potter? I suppose you would be proud of that old thing, wouldn't you? It's nice, I guess. For a toy. Nothing like the Andretti 2004.

I think it's kind of weird, too! She asked after you, though. :) Next time you and Ron go out to toss the Quaffle around, I'd like to come! If that's okay!

Yeah, that would be fun. As long as Ron doesn't follow you around in case you fall like he did last time. That was kind of distracting.
