I hate my life and everyone in it. I hope the fleas of a thousand Hippogriffs will infest their armpits and their heads will roll off just when they bloody need it. Why the sod do we need a retarded ball for? And what kind of stupid name is "Bleu Ball"? What does "bleu" even mean?! What the bloody hell do we have to celebrate about? Or are we so bored that we have to throw a celebration for any old, damn day of the week now?
Might as well have a ball every day of the week, why don't we? So we can celebrate - oh, I don't know - having enough homework to make stabbing myself in the eye repeatedly sound like so much more fun?! Do they HONESTLY think that I have nothing in this sod of a world to do than humiliate myself trying to think of who else I can ask to the crappy ball?!
Yeah, bloody hell, I heard from Colin today that we have to bloody bring a date to the ball! Whose genius idea is this?! When did making a fool of ourselves become a rule in this school? I demand a transfer, dammit! This is a reoccurring nightmare, honestly!
I thought maybe Hermione, Harry and I could go together but it looks like my friends obviously had other plans. I guess some people just have things easy for them in everything in their life. Anyone who has half that kind of luck wouldn't care so much about getting turned down, would they?! If I had half of Hogwarts queuing up to go to the ball with me, I wouldn't try to ask my own friends to go with me. But I'm just another Weasley, aren't I? Always one step too late.
You would think having such annoying bright red hair would make me stand out in the crowd, but no. Nice and alone in the shadows here, no need to worry about the sidekick! And why, not that I don't think she deserves the attention, is the whole sodding world asking Hermione to the ball?! I'm not being jealous or anything, but bloody hell, she?s MY friend! It?s only right that friends should stick together in nightmares like these, isn't it?! But oh, don't let that stop you! Be a git and jump right in, under my nose, and ask her to the ball, why don't you? All of you!
Just like that fool, Krum, during our 4th year Yule ball! Who did he think he was asking Hermione to the ball?! Because he is some Quidditch expert he gets to have his way with everything? I don't bloody think so! That skinny, slouching scumbag only has one eyebrow! Not two, not fifteen, but ONE! One huge, thick eyebrow stuck across his ugly forehead! How DARE he ask MY best friend to the ball with one eyebrow?! He can't even pronounce her name! Champion, my bloody foot!
What is with Seekers asking Hermione to balls anyway?! There is some secret conspiracy going on, there must be, it is the only explanation. Dammit, sod it all to hell! Harry said that Hermione didn't agree to go with him, though. Said something about wanting to go with a real date, instead of with friends. Well, that?s just brilliant, isn't it? So much for "ask me before someone else does".
Now I can't even ask her, not that I wanted- I mean, I could have wanted, but- Oh bother. What?s the use of having best friends when one basically never has any problems to understand this nightmare and the other doesn't want to go with "just a friend"?!
This stinks. The ball stinks. The whole school stinks. Everyone stinks! Damn bloody it, I hate my life.

Don't worry, Weasley. You do stand out in a crowd. There are only so many elephants in a crowd.
And what the sod are you insulting Krum for? He's a better Quidditch player than you'll ever be. I'll have you know he's had that eyebrow fixed. I should know, since he regularly visits the manor.

Why do you care who I'm insulting?! So what if he got his cockroach eyebrow fixed, he's still bloody ugly! And before you start replying me with your dumb arse ugly or poor jokes again, they are not funny and so shut the hell up. Cucumber git face!

Cor, Ron! I'm sorry you haven't gotten a date!! I haven't either! But that's alright, because I'm going to be taking pictures!! You can help, if you'd like!!! 8^))) It's not so bad going by yourself!!
I'm free this afternoon!! Did you want to play a game of chess?!?! =^D =^D =^D
-- COLIN!

Hullo Colin. Yeah a game of chess sounds good. Harry hasn't been in the best of moods to play chess lately anyway. I'm not sure if I'm going to the dumb arse ball anymore. Oh well. I'll see you in the common room then?

I'm sorry, Ron, I didn't think that you would mind. I kind of thought that you would come along too, and it would be the three of us. I guess I just didn't think. I'm sorry. I hate dances. I don't even know why we have them.
knight_to_h3 @ 2002-06-05 12:38 am UTC |
It's okay, Harry, I didn't mean what I said. Dances are all stupid anyway. I'll see you at dinner, alright?
