Whew! Haven't updated in here for quite a while, I'd nearly forgotten about this journal until I overheard Lavender and Parvati sniggering during Divination this morning over some dress choices that Parkinson pug girl posted on her journal. That girl sure has got some bad taste, did somebody forgot to tell her that it's not a Halloween ball? Then again, her ball date is none other than the resident flea bag so it's understandable. The poor thing has obviously lost her mind. Sad case, that one.

Classes were boring as hell, as usual. Thursdays are always the worst. Why on earth do we need to have so many lessons with the bloody Slytherins?! It's bad enough we have to share the hall with them during mealtimes, honestly! Charms class was pretty cool today, we learnt this wicked charm to make objects walk. I managed to charm a stool to follow Hermione around since she refused to tell me what she's wearing to the ball. Why is she being so bloody mysterious for?! ALL the girls in all the houses won't shut up about what they're wearing and here she is, all secretive for nothing! Mind you, I wouldn't want her to be all girly like the rest, Hermione is different from other girls, which is a good thing, very good thing, but it wouldn't kill her to just answer my bloody questions once in a while, would it?! I swear that woman won't stop until she drives me into St Mungo's, seriously!

I can't believe the ball is on Saturday. Saturday! Less than 48 hours! Bloody hell! Does anybody else feel like it's going to turn out to be The Nightmare for real? I mean, I don't think anything will go wrong, but you'll never know with these things, you know. Balls are evil, I'm telling you! Harry was saying something about dancing. SLOW dancing. He'd better be kidding. Not that I can't do it or anything or that I'm nervous, I'm not nervous about it, really. Not nervous at all. It's just Hermione, right? We're good friends and we'll have fun with Harry and Susan. Not a big deal, doesn't have to be. Yeah, I'm not nervous. Okay, maybe a bit. I'm not sure why. But it's just a bit, not a lot. It's not like I've been losing sleep and feeling weird in my tummy all day?

It'll be fine, I'm sure it will be. It'd better be. Oh that reminds me, Fred Weasley is one dead man. And so is George. I received an anonymous parcel today that had 3 books in it and a note that said "Use them well, make us proud." It would have been more anonymous if they didn't owl the parcel using ERROL! What the bloody hell were they thinking sending me those books?! Hermione nearly saw what they were! Good thing I was quick enough and I told her they were just guide books, which is not really a lie. FRED AND GEORGE WILL PAY, HEAR YOU ME!

Received a parcel from Mum today as well. Ginny has been all edgy lately since she had that nightmare so I owled Mum some money to get a stuffed dragon for her. I think Ginny liked it, gave me a hug during dinner. I wish she wouldn't do that in front of everyone, but I'm glad it cheered her up a little. She's been hanging out a lot with Hermione, which is kind of cool really. Only that they tend to get all giggly and shut up whenever I'm around. I swear I'll never bloody understand girls. But if she's telling Hermione any embarrassing stories, I'm taking the stuffed dragon back!

I can't believe the ball is Saturday. Bloody Saturday. I'd better go try on my robes or something, hopefully I haven't grown out of it again. Sirius bought new ones for Harry, I saw them today, brand new and all. It's always nice to have new stuffs anyway. Oh well, time to go. I need to go lie down and not think about the ball anymore. Why the hell am I so nervous for?! Ugh. Sod it, sod this nightmare. Good night.
