Draco's Raincloud
Poor Draco. He went off somewhere this morning, and when he came back he brought a new friend! A little raincloud followed him all over the common room! He did look so adorable, clenching his fists and stomping around while this cute little raincloud hovered over his head. I tried to ignore it, as I thought it was the polite thing to do, but it was hard when we walked down to breakfast and someone started singing that song. You know, the 'It's raining, it's pouring' song. It was terribly immature, but it was a first year, so that's not surprising.

Well, you can imagine my surprise when it turned out that Draco's raincloud has different forecasts. Why, I was almost afraid we were going to have a flood during Care of Magical Creatures. It just kept pouring rain down on poor Draco, and he was absolutely soaked. Then this terrible streak of lightning shot out and nearly electrocuted Ron Weasley. I think it gets worse when he's around certain people, and I don't want to name any names, but I thought we were about to have a tornado when Harry Potter got to class. The lightning knocked a branch off of a tree. It was very impressive, even if Draco didn't think so.

I think I'll bake something nice for Millicent and Terry to take on their date with Seamus Finnigan and Dean Thomas. A chequerboard cake, with mint icing.

Save the baking for your ray of sunshine.
