Draco is such a dear boy. He has just been a perfect darling, arranging it so I could get a few more icons. He really is just the loveliest, most thoughtful, and handsomest boyfriend that a girl could ever hope to have.

Among other things, I was on way back from the kitchen when I happened upon a cat just outside the doors. He was a rather large, mangy creature with a bushy, brush like tail, a squashed face, and ginger hair. (Not quite a handsome beast despite my fondness of cats). When he saw me, he stopped straight in his tracks and glared at me with his fur raised and his back arched. At first this gave me quite a fright but then I realized he wasn't really likely a mean feline, rather his hostile reaction was probably due to some sort of abuse from his past or current owner.

I won the poor darling over by slipping him a little salmon paté and scratching him on his head. He was quite subdued after that. I do wonder to whom he belongs, although I suppose I likely could figure it out if there is any truth to the statement: "Pets begin to resemble their owners." After all, Millicent does look a bit like her cat since they both possess such lovely sleek, black hair

I did wish to make this entry longer. Unfortunately, it looks like I haven't quite the time to write about the on goings of the Hallowe'en ball. It shall have to wait until next time.

Please don't spoil my cat, Pansy.

Had I known he was yours, I would have let him be, Hermione. I won't feed him again.

Thank you. I'm sorry if he hissed at you, Ron swears he's mental, but of course he's friendly as can be.

Oh, it's quite all right, Hermione. I think we've come to an understanding.

PS. I was sorry to hear that Professor Snape was so harsh on you about your after-hours potion.

Well, I deserved it. I shouldn't have thought I could brew such a potion while so tired.

Sometimes when you are so focused on one task, you begin to become blind to everything else outside of that, even the obvious. Or perhaps in this case, it was a matter of hindsight making such things more apparent? It certainly is a pity that one cannot reap the benefits of experience prior to it happening, or similarly the effects of a potion prior to brewing it.

I really am, aren't I? Anyway, that's Granger's cat. You can tell by the way it's unbearable to look at.

You are, dare I say, the perfect boyfriend.

I suppose Granger and her cat share a certain fluffiness.

I'd say so myself, but I'm far too modest.

Granger and her cat share a certain prickliness generally only found in cacti.

Hmm. Do you really think there is a resemblance between the three?

Well, when you put it that way - yes.
