Current mood: | worried |
Do you know something? I'm terribly proud to call Seamus Finnigan my friend. I think that everyone who can say the same must be proud of this, but I can't help mentioning it. He can never hear it enough.
Is there anything quite like the thrill of exams? I adore preparing for them: spending my evenings in the library, quiet hours in the common room, books books books. I enjoy the anticipation, as well, which I realise makes me odd, but I am used to it. Some evenings Madam Pince (and now Professor Lupin) don't notice me and I end up staying in the library well beyond hours. I am very short and very quiet, and this isn't always a bad thing.
I am slightly concerned about Lisa, who seems to be taking potions to help her stay awake almost every other night. In the evenings, when she isn't studying, she's on rounds, and when she's not on rounds she's studying. I don't even know how often she sleeps. She's not been in the room when I've gone to bed for at least a fortnight. She's there in the morning, but I never hear her come in. Part of me always wished that I would be the Head Girl, but now I am not regretful about it at all.
Hannah and I have split up a few books and taken notes to share with each other, but I am worried that this may be akin to cheating.

Thanks. I appreciate that!
Exams? Thrilling? What do they put in the water in Ravenclaw?
Lisa is going to crash if she isn't careful. But is there anything we can do about it?

Don't tell me you don't enjoy the preparation and excitement! The anxiety! The nerves!
I am not certain, as I barely even see her to mention it!

Okay, I won't tell you.
We should find her, though. All of this not sleeping makes me worry. You're sleeping, aren't you?

Sometimes I think I sleep too much. Although, now I feel like I should be suspicious and ask if you're sleeping, too!

If I am awake at night, it is not for the sake of revising. But as a general rule, yes, I'm sleeping.
