I am a teacher. I am a person of authority at this school. I must at all times maintain an air of respect, bordering on intimidation.

I am reminded of a similar 'discussion' Severus and Sirius had, back in our fifth year. For a week Severus went around sporting a very nice alligator's tail, while Sirius spent his days a particularly fetching shade of purple. I can't even remember what started the duel. It's a pity they were never allowed to finish it; Professor McGonagall happened by and put a stop to it.

Hmmm.. You know, I wonder if those 'anger management' sessions are really leftover detentions from that incident.

Oh dear, the boys are getting rather loud over there. I suppose it is my Professorly duty to break it up. I really ought to. What kind of an example would I be to the pupils if I were to allow such a violent display of immaturity to go unchecked?
