Lovely weekend :)
It was Valentine's Day on Friday and Ron sent me one of those Livejournal Valentines, which I found out because I sent him one, of course. *smiles* What was odd that it told me that someone else had also sent one to me - but it won't tell you who sent it unless you also nominated the person, so I have no idea who it was. It's very odd.
Then we went to play Grottle with Harry and Sirius instead of going to Hogsmeade. The Grottle run isn't too far from Hogsmeade, actually, and we got to ride brooms over, which was fun as I don't get to ride nearly as often as Harry and Ron do. We arrived, rented our carpets and got set up for the course. I'd never played Grottle before, and it was really a lot of fun. It's easier than Quidditch in some ways, so perhaps that why I was not so terrible at it. But then, I've never claimed to have any great athletic skills. We did a number of runs, then Ron and I stopped to go and make snowpeople while Harry and Sirius did the course again. Here is a photo of the snowpeople we built:
Aren't they adorable? After that, there was a bit of rolling about in the snow as Ron tried to stick a snowball down the back of my jumper! I got him back, though. *sweet smile*
We ended the day by going to the lodge and having a nice tea with hot chocolate or butterbeer. When we were done, it was getting late so we rode back to Hogsmeade and then walked back to Hogwarts.
Yesterday I spent revising and catching up on some minor Prefect duties. Oh, and can I please ask that whomever keeps leaving the extra-bubble faucet turned on in the Prefect's bathroom please be more careful? I went in there last night and the room was covered in bubbles.
