It was a good weekend, even without seeing the Quidditch match. The Cannons won so Ron has been out of his head with happiness, even if he didn't get to see it. His tendency to be overexcited can be endearing occasionally.

Hogsmeade was nice - I got some new books and some sweets from Honeyduke's, plus we checked out Fred and George's shop and they gave us a bunch of things we could try out for them. I'll be a bit careful with their jokes, however - they can be a bit much sometimes.

I was happy to see that Neville got new pets - hopefully they will help him to get over the loss he's suffered. Malfoy should've paid for them, however. It would have been the right thing to do, but Merlin forbid Malfoy do the right thing. I have no idea what Harry and Ron were thinking in buying snakes, however. Snakes are just not pleasant.
