Well, here we are
I for one am finding it quite interesting to see how the intergration of the Muggle and Wizarding worlds will work in this new medium. Of course, I'd used the internet many times while on holidays at home, but I never thought I'd see the day when we'd have computers and the internet at Hogwarts and in wizard homes. Electronics never used to work at Hogwarts, but apparently they've found a way around the problem. I'd certainly be curious to learn about that spell!

The unfortunate thing is that not even a computer can make certain people polite. Already certain individuals are insulting my friends and I in their entries. I certainly hope that the staff will put a stop to such nonsense. Yes, these are our personal journals, but they should not be a forum for attacking others. I mean, really!

Dear Hermione,

I am certain you are still pursuing both your curricular and extracurricular academia while at Hogwarts, and feel there is no need for me to ask. I hope that all is going well in your independent studies.

Ronald has given word to the Burrow that you were made a Prefect this year. Congratulations. It is a most gracious honour, and it is one I knew you would always receive.

As for the certain individuals who shall go unnamed (even Malfoy deserves his privacy), I would recommend that you continue to ignore them. They are merely out to seek the attention they clearly don't receive, and will eventually develop ennui at your complete lack of reaction.

Thank you very much for your congratulations. I will do my best to live up to the standards that you and other prefects have set.

I shall take your advice on matters of others. I do, however, hope that some measure of discipline with be handed out.

Hermione, only you would think this is a chance for learning MORE. Only YOU can learn more than you! This is a very bad idea, seriously!

P.S: Can I borrow your Potions essay? I just want to check on a tiny detail...

And no, you CANNOT borrow my Potions homework! You know the rule - I'll look yours over but you cannot copy mine! How will you learn??

I am not copying! It is for reference! Like you said, when in doubt, go to the library. You are a lot nearer than the library.
