Narcissa?

You're here?

blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-28 07:20 pm UTC

Yes, I'm here at Hogwarts, Remus! I am trying to find out what is wrong with my child and he won't come out and see his mother!

Narcissa, why don't you come up and have a nice cup of tea? Then perhaps we will take a stroll around the grounds and look for your son.

I'm in the North Tower, just past Sybil Trelawney's classroom. Follow the smell of incense, you should pick it up somewhere around the Great Hall. She doesn't go easy on the stuff.

Remus,

I shall be along shortly as Miss Parkinson informed me he is not in Slytherin. I have no idea where my child is and I am quite distressed. I would rather not have tea right now, if you don't mind. I would rather try to find Draco. The poor dear must be so very upset.

That is fine, Narcissa. I'll be here, and we'll go for a walk, or perhaps a fly - survey the grounds from the air, perhaps? I have an extra broom, if you're willing.

blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-28 08:28 pm UTC

We shall have to walk as I must admit that I do not know how to fly a broom. My mother never allowed me as it was not something that ladies are supposed to do.

I know some Quidditch players who might disagree with that, Narcissa.

And a witch that can't fly on a broomstick is completely unacceptable. You must learn, if for any reason perhaps it could be a nice mother-son activity at a later date, flying?

I will teach you, if you like. There's no reason ladies can't fly - my grandmother was a society maven herself and she could outstrip all of us on her old Shooting Star.

Come, Narcissa. Let's see if we can't find your boy.

blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-28 08:49 pm UTC

Oh, I don't know if I should do that. I'm rather afraid of heights, I think. Or of flying. Or- It's very dangerous, isn't it?

I am on my way.

For the love of Slytherin, woman, stop your infernal caterwauling, lest you bring the castle down around us all with your shrill bleating. Some of us are trying to work.

Your shaveling will be found when he deigns to be found.

Snape

lupercus @ 2003-04-28 07:54 pm UTC

Severus, cast a Silencing Charm and bugger off, would you? The woman's distraught.

Pardon me, Wolf, for wanting a little peace at the end of my work day instead of some inebriated socialite with aspirations of mother-of-the-year howling and prowling the dungeons.

I don't tolerate it from you so why should I put up with it from her?

(parent)
blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-28 08:03 pm UTC

Severus Snape!

Why I NEVER. Have you no heart whatsoever? I thought you were fond of Draco. Something could have happened to him!

I was tolerant of the scion of Malfoy at one point or another, however his recent behaviour has thoroughly diluted his appeal. To put it bluntly, madam, he is of little use to his House nor have I any sort of current interest in him.

Good luck in locating your progeny. I daresay you will, eventually. Of course, you are most likely the only person actively seeking his company, so the odds aren't exactly stacked.

Go away, now.

blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-28 08:39 pm UTC

He has had a rough time of things lately. You ought to be a bit more understanding. I know in the future he will work harder to be an asset to his house instead of a hinderance after his father and I discussed a few things with him regarding his behavior this weekend.

I do hope to find him soon. Quite frankly, I am apalled that no one from the Hogwarts staff save for Remus seems to even remotely care about his well-being.

Mrs Malfoy, Professor Vector posted a very long entry about Draco. I'm sure you've read it.

Yes, well, Hilda said some hateful, spiteful things that she elicited from me and then twisted so suit her whims whilst I was in a less-than-coherent state. She is dead to me.

Oh dear. That was a bit harsh. I am under much duress and am saying things that no proper lady would. Please ignore the malicious things I just posted. I am quite embarrassed.

Too late.

Have you no muzzle?

Why? Do you want me to use it on you?

For once I agree with you, Severus. I am about to turn to drink.

Care to join me?

Yes.

And you are still an idiot.

Yes, but an idiot who has a new bottle of firewhiskey begging to be opened. Care to lose at chess?

Oh, and whose rooms are farthest from the din?

Mrs Malfoy,

Draco isn't here, I've tried to tell you. He did tell me that he hopes you'll 'stop trying to be Molly Weasley, as it isn't impressive', though, if that means anything to you.

Pansy Parkinson

blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-28 08:01 pm UTC

Miss Parkinson:

If he isn't here, then WHERE is he? I really would like to speak to him.

I do not know what he means by that, either.
